He didn't do a lot on the field last year, possibly because he was injured, but Hugh just looks like a great bloke. Always positive, smiling, upbeat, welcoming. Hopefully he can have an impact on field this year.

Funny how things work out, he left GC with life after footy and aspirations of coaching in mind, came here to play then coach under Nobel, if we hold up our end of the bargain, he legitimately could have the best coaching apprenticeship on offer.

Last time we played Adelaide, McKay was our FF, which allowed Tex to get off the chain. Logue should make short work of Fogarty.

With something approximating an actual list and an actual gameplan, we have to be in with a good shot for notching the Giants and the Crows in the win column this year.

The best kicks are the players with the best depth perception too. Split second depth perception and decision making.

Can’t teach it, you’re either born with it or you’re not.

That’s why most of the indigenous players have sublime skills and can pin-point passes, it’s been in their DNA for hundreds of years.

Thats why I referenced Daniel Wells. One of the best kicks of a footy ive seen. Beautiful, it was like a haiku from hand to foot. Such a glorious thing to watch. Whenever wellsy had it in his hands, you knew (unless he was being tackled) that pill was in the lap no matter what! You can’t teach that shit

I just had a look. I had us down for 8 wins. One of those was in Tas v Port. I think the other one was the GWS game as you suggest. Crows we can argue. But the 2x WC is probably optimistic as well.

LDU said in an interview that WP is really determined & angry. Obviously his first two years have been far from ideal, however I’m of the view that angry hunger will only make him better.
