Plays like.. Doedee?
yeah, undersized interceptor. nice pick. i could definitely see that type of output from arch in the not too distant future

his vertical is far more impressive than i expected too. he genuinely springs upwards when he jumps. wouldn't be surprised to see him take a hanger or two in his career

There's something about kids of former players.
Seem to put in more work and give more efforts on field.
This kids gonna be a superstar.

Both of them played regular games in the seniors, 27 and 70 respectively.
That's a lot more than most who get drafted.
Sure it is but i imagine its because they inherited some pretty good genes rather than busting their asses off, you could argue that if they cracked in like jacko they would still be on lists.

The thing with Archer is in the heat of battle where any repeat efforts will seal the victory or win the ball back, he's gonna be that bloke.

He will go at it again and again like a man possessed with shinboner blue and white running through his veins. He won't give in and will definitely make his opponent earn it. The tackles will hurt more, the spoils will frustrate more, the lack of freedom will annoy more and then when there's some spicy hooks, the face will hurt more!

The sort of player that everyone will respect because they know he's got their back.

One of the pillars of a premiership team. No doubt. You need these absolute hard nuts because they turn 50/50s into 70/30s.

I watched this kid at VFL level and he looked a million miles off it and then was surprised he got the call up to AFL level and he made a good fist of his debut.

Good to hear he is putting his best foot forward, because it’s been a while since we had someone bolt from the blue and turn themselves into a very good AFL level player.

If he has his old man’s determination he won’t leave anything out there. I also wonder if he is wired like his old man who has repeatedly stated that it was fear of failure that drove him to never want to be beaten?

Let’s see what happens when the real stuff starts but it’s encouraging hearing we have a young player making significant improvements, one that was unexpected if he would make it or not?

I saw a VFL game in Qld, and he looked so far off the mark, I too was surprised he got a call up.

However, he seems to be doing everything right, so good luck to the young Arch.

Has an exceptionally Teutonic head.
