Similar when older female women have sexual relations with underage boys. Its like because its the female thats the perpetrator, that is magically not pedophillia.
Surely we are not still doing this are we?

Not posting this to promote Code Sports but the good thing here is that Mark Duffield is going to focus on West Coast whilst the other mob get Eliza Reilly

Even though he’s a Dockers supporter, Duffield is probably the best football journalist in the state and I don’t think it’s particularly close to second. More often than not he’s pretty balanced and has been around long enough not to be intimidated by Nisbett. His football knowledge is also good

In terms of getting an accurate account of all things West Coast, good and bad, this is a positive

I think it’s Kevin Caton giving us a round one preview.

Amazing.

Kevin Caton appearances for West Coast:
  • Round 18, 1988 vs Melbourne
  • We Love Football rap video
<list ends>

If we lose to North that's ten straight losses. If we continue to lose Adam Simpsons' term as coach will become untenable and he could be gone before the bye.

I'm glad Mark Duffield has found another home, he's a great journalist. I look forward to hearing his views on us very soon.

Very much doubt he goes this year unless something really drastic happens.

If we have a fit and available team, then lose to North, I'm going to turn from optimist to extreme pessimist for 2023.

Now I'm getting nervous for rnd 1!

Good old Victorians. It’s not enough that we have to pretend flags won pre 1990 should be included as “AFL” premierships, now they’re pushing for flags won in the VFA from 1870 to 1897 to be added

****ing lunacy

Only because Geelong gets 7 more flags out of it, self-interest at its finest.

But yeah let's include the VFA, sounds like a real professional organisation

Carlton and Melbourne each hosted intercolonial clubs during the season – in both cases, the same clubs they had visited in 1877:[5]
Carlton hosted the Waratah club from New South Wales, playing one match under the rugby rules prevalent in New South Wales and one match under the Victorian rules, as they had done the previous year during Carlton's visit to Sydney.

The real kicker in this is the VFA continued operating after the VFL was formed. This is as bad as when the Port flogs try to claim they've won 37 flags, the SANFL and the VFA were separate leagues ffs

Good thing we won't have many CH.7 games this year...might get awkward if JD kicks six & Rhino goes to him for the post game interview

Always felt like the club as a whole had a decent relationship with Ryan Daniels, wonder if this makes things a bit sticky or if it's purely an individual thing.

He was such a mild mannered, respectful boy before getting that vaccine. Now he's basically a rabid celiac litigation-machine whilst providing a mobile hot-spot from his own blood.

Is there already an indication of how many of our games won't be on Channel 7?

Exact times and dates for games were only given up to Round 15 but of those games precisely zero WCE matches are being hosted by CH7

So we’re going to get used to listening to the Fox commentators

If they let the VFA flags count, then the SANFL should as well.

I just had a quick squiz, and it appears that WC have exactly zero FTA games on Ch.7 in the first 15 games.
Source: AFL Fixture: Each club's free-to-air games

Note that most Vic teams get plenty, and we are the only team with no allocated FTA time at all.

I know we were pants last season, but WTaF?

So much for McGowan requesting that all WA games be FTA...

It says this is just for Victoria.
