Agreed. Was getting worried that he hadn’t come back this year yet so after reading your post I looked to see if there was anything to say if/when he planned to return

Best I could find was an article from a week ago saying JK was going to be a regular contributor to Gossage’s show. Reading trough I came to this bit

“In addition, Kennedy will have a further presence on the SEN WA airwaves as a weekly contributor for Mornings with Mark Duffield from February through to the end of September.”

So I take it Duff will be back sometime this month
Awesome! Thanks for that! I was a bit worried! I am looking forward to his return. And having JK on will be brilliant.

He’s a treasure

Sounds very much like he wants to pursue a coaching career and I’d love to see him gravitate to a development coach role as the season progresses

"The report indicates the matter could be settled out of court following a hearing between the two parties on Tuesday."

It might be over before it starts.
Not sure what he's trying to accomplish here, and definitely not the distraction he needs going into this season.

/Sigh.

The fact that Darling was refusing to get vaccinated was officially stated by the club, because he was going to be absent from training.

Not sure that Daniels said anything that would add to what was already out in the public sphere.

Also, defamation actions are bloody complex and difficult to run, and according to their website Darling’s lawyers don’t appear to do them as a speciality. So good luck to him, because SevenWest’s lawyers would be experts.

Shannon Hurn is proof that the fountain of youth exists but a side effect of use is it makes you look 20 years older than you are.

He'd have to prove loss of income/employment for a false allegation wouldn't he? Seeing as how he was certainly stood down for lack of vaccination as per AFL policy rather than anything Seven reported on it seems rather nonsensical.

I just really don't see how this doesn't end up with JD looking silly.

He is still pointing to that unspecified injury and Drs orders I believe. Should there be any truth to that then things may open up some.

yeah, it sounds like he's got terrible advice.

Maybe his mother-in-law does law as well as medicine.

Well he could still potentially prove he’s been defamed, but if he can’t show any loss he’d only get nominal damages.

So if Seven offered him some go-away money, he refused it, went to trial, proved Rhino defamed him but couldn’t prove any loss, he’d potentially have to pay Seven’s costs of the trial (and his own). That’s a possible outcome.
