Doubt they were crafty enough to get tickets, mate. It was pretty tough going.
I like Volk as a rank outsider. Keen to see a couple of Aussie boys like Crute and Della Madalena as well. It's a shame a few good fights got cancelled on the card.

You'd be surprised - in the early 2000s I used to go to heaps of boxing/Muay Thai/MMA events, eventually got put off as mixing alcohol, fights and tough guy spectators was just plain volatile. Hopefully it's all free of that stuff anyway and you have a great time!
Would love to see Volk win, but something is nagging in me that he'll just fall short (pun intended). Don't have anything personal against Islam - he's not a massive dickhead like a lot of fighters, I'm just not a fan of Khabib as he's just such a sour campaigner - he won't be there I know. Hopefully it's a great fight and Volk can come out on top.
I'm sure there will be a few turbos there, but we don't have any plans to kick on at the after parties or anything. Starts at like 7am so will be a pretty long day anyway. Work Monday so will scoot outta there when it wraps up most likely.
Bit of a bucket list thing to see UFC live so I'm glad it's come to Perth with a stacked card.

Hello everyone,
I am beyond disappointed with the West Coast Eagles’ recent decision to trade down from pick 2 and draft Ginbey and Hewett. As many of you know, The Poo was the talk of the town this draft season, with many experts hailing him as the greatest prospect since Chris Judd.
But instead of capitalizing on this once-in-a-generation talent, the West Coast Eagles traded down and missed out on him completely. How could they do this? The Poo was the consensus top pick, and his combination of size, speed, and skill was unmatched by anyone in this draft class.
I can’t even begin to express how angry I am about this. The West Coast Eagles had a chance to secure a franchise-changing player and instead, the pie man made a decision that will haunt them for years to come. The Poo was the real deal, a player who had the potential to turn the West Coast Eagles into a premiership contender overnight.
Ginbey and Hewett are decent players, but they are nowhere near the level of The Poo. This trade will go down as one of the worst decisions in West Coast Eagles’ history, and I’m struggling to understand how the pie man could be so short-sighted.
I’m just beside myself with frustration. The West Coast Eagles had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to draft a true superstar and they blew it. I’m so upset about this that I’m considering deleting my account in protest.
