He may have had endorsements that got pulled. That’s the only loss I can think of that he could directly link to any reporting.
HJs dropped him from the posters at their stores and replaced him with Gaff.
That would have been the club's sponsorship deal rather than Darling's, surely?
The individuals used in the marketing would still have some sort of compensation you would think
The Fremantle Football club has nothing to do with the Fremantle from back then, they even have nothing at all to do with South and East Fremantle.
It would be like saying West Coast can add Clkaremonts flags to their tally.

Well yes I agree, it was more of a joke about how badly they would swoop in and try and claim past premierships.

I known it was hosted at the Peel football club, but no excuse for not getting people to dress up and show more respect
Particularly given they definitely have dark suits and club ties.

Club polos to a funeral is an odd look but from that footage it would appear it was an across the board decision- as in all the players and there were a couple of staff/coaches wearing polos as well by the look
So it’s a deliberate decision that for all we know may have come either at the family’s request or their blessing.
It was held at the Peel football club after all and Kylie Bazzo was heavily involved in football administration so it’s not far fetched to think it was a request
Not sure we should be so quick to judge even if, on the surface, it looks out of place to what you’d expect to see
