Nothing like marketing at a funeral

Questions should be asked of officialdom rather than any players. Maybe they thought it would look as the club united in support but someone should have tapped them on the shoulder and said ‘maybe not’.Club polos to a funeral is an odd look but from that footage it would appear it was an across the board decision- as in all the players and there were a couple of staff/coaches wearing polos as well by the look
So it’s a deliberate decision that for all we know may have come either at the family’s request or their blessing.
It was held at the Peel football club after all and Kylie Bazzo was heavily involved in football administration so it’s not far fetched to think it was a request
Not sure we should be so quick to judge even if, on the surface, it looks out of place to what you’d expect to see
That's all great until your wife's aunt starts stealing the money people gave to support the family then telling everyone how terrible the deceased children are(my wife and brother in law), despite the fact said aunt was estranged from the family for over a decade due to continually trying to prostitute her niece(my wife) with army officers 20+ years older than her. Each to their own , but when I kick the bucket people can wear whatever they like to the party after the cremation, much prefer the Thai style when it comes to funerals, celebrate the person's life, the whole everything black definitely not to my taste at all.
Eat, drink and talk about the good times.
Not a Hunters & Collectors fan, I take it?As an aside, if I see the club say it is going to ‘wrap its arms around the player’ again, or the media unquestioningly repeat it, I’m going to scream. Support is a shorter word, has actual meaning and doesn’t make you sound like a tit.
Throw. Free kick. Not a Hunters & Collectors fan, I take it?
The only acceptable instance. Great song, had the privilege of seeing Mark Seymour and Pearl Jam play it together. Not a Hunters & Collectors fan, I take it?
Way to paint everyone with the same brush, well done.
Thai people man...
I think I read where people were asked to wear something colourful and maybe that’s what the Club came up with - and I would be surprised if the Club didn’t discuss this first with Rhett and Kameron out of respect.I can't find it now but Rhett and his sister were sharing a flyer about the memorial so people could save the date and pay their respects. I feel like it mentioned something about attire, possibly wearing your club colours, but I can't be certain.
I trust my in-laws and my wife's closest friends. That's pretty much it and it's based on past experiences.Way to paint everyone with the same brush, well done.
What any of your replies have to do with a Thai style funeral I have NFII trust my in-laws and my wife's closest friends. That's pretty much it and it's based on past experiences.
The amount of people I've seen there who constantly borrow substantial amounts of money from 'friends', only to do a runner blew my mind.
Happened to my wife on at least 4 occasions, to the point where I've told her she's never to lend money to anyone unless it's the in-laws or 1 of her closest friends, because I know they'd be in dire circumstances if they ever asked.
Don't get me wrong, I love the place and the people are generally nice. The Asian obsession for living beyond their means by borrowing from people they never intend to pay pack, simply to buy gold, have the latest phone, etc., is rife there though.
Yeah, would never happen in a western country....
Your post set me off with bad memories about my father in law's funeral last year, is allWhat any of your replies have to do with a Thai style funeral I have NFI
But yeah as if anything you've said could EVER possibly happen in a western country....

Yeah, let's just say my wife hold a pretty similar view to me. She's the one from Thailand.Could just as easily have said “Families, man…”
Working with executors and seeing the family disputes when Grampa dies, makes you question whether we’re actually the most intelligent species here.
From whence you came!..Who even wants a funeral. Just throw me in the compost bin.
Do we even need to wait until you’re dead?Who even wants a funeral. Just throw me in the compost bin.
Paywalled but not a huge fan of players rocking up in a club gear to a funeral.
