Haven't been able to watch second half. Is the season salvageable? How concerned should we be?

We'll get some players back but they'll be quite underdone.
No. Burn the microwave that you burn your membership with. Then buy another one of both, cover them with the ashes, and burn them too. Hollands and Cowan look promising though. 👍

We're having a burn the membership day at princes Park this week. Bring your own pitchfork.

We've got no hope of ever winning a game ever again. Unless of course we get Cripps, McKay, Walsh, Durdin. Martin. McGovern. Marchbank back or at least some of them.. Also pretty sure saady has an evil twin that he sends out to play on his behalf in practice matches so he doesn't get injured.

Some things you like tonight and some that were perplexing. No injuries though.

Don't mind it. Won one, lost one, the coaches will know what needs tuning up. Its just praccy stuff and importantly, no injuries

I don't comment on these forums because I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I must say this is some lazy criticism. It's the generic comment on Dow without actually looking at his game without bias eyes

You know where you are yeah?? 😄😄

Thought Bam Bam looked good. Charlie was mobile, and Jack presented all night.
Weiters was solid, Cowans and Holland may have got themselves a game in Rd 1.
It’s been a pretty dry summer in Melb as opposed to Syd where it rains all the time. So the Swans would’ve been more prepared for the slippery conditions… but even so their skills were a level above ours. Something about those left footers, they all use the ball well.
Oh and where do we get ourselves a Gulden?

Only practise yes but our defense on turnover is still ordinary and rebounding on turnover is same -- still see a lot of easy ball end to end ..maybe some our just looking to round one and dancing with there sister !!
Ruck dilemma will continue

Great to see Cowan hollands play well --
Bring on round one

Hate to sound like a sook but it's time we move past thinking Marchy, Martin, Gov

lol you are seriously thinking our shitness is related to Sydney being used to slippery conditions. FMD

What a frustrating game. Sydney so much cleaner, stronger, committed in that first quarter.
Thought we held our own the next three quarters but every time we looked like gaining momentum Sydney strangled us.
Cowans and hollands were huge. Cowans is tough as old boots and kicks the ball so well. Hollands is a running machine with great skills. Both put their head over the ball and go when it’s their turn.
Charlie competed well without Harry against a very good Sydney backline. Special mention to JSOS. Owies, fish, honey, Motlop underwhelming.
Kennedy, George and Cerra fought hard but overwhelmed by Sydney numbers. All those who bagged Dow are feeding their unconscious bias. He ran hard. Made good decisions. Disposal was good. Looked bigger and stronger.
Weiters super. Plow tried hard but makes too many costly mistakes. Young deplorable. Saad average. Cincotta very good.
Lob quiet. Acres excellent.
TDK good. Pitt well below par.

Harry, Cripps, McGovern and 100,000 fans will make a huge difference come round 1.

Not too concerned. Swans are a very good team. They got the run on before the rain came and we matched them the next three quarters.

Vossy will have a lot to work with the next two weeks. Particularly the way they ran it out from kick ins time and time again.
