I reckon jack is smart enough to snag a few goals when he's 50. The concern is how many do we give up due to lack of defensive effort or contests where he's outmarked by the defence due to lack of athleticism?

That’s how I see it as well, it’s not the ones he will score
We have more than enough fire power to secure a winning score it’s that we are getting smashed on the rebound and teams are moving the footy effortlessly from coast to coast against us
Are we better served playing younger and more agile bodies to help counter that movement

reckon we just go balls deep into attack and play basketball footy all year and win games like 200-190

it's what the AFL want anyways

maybe even get rid of a few defenders for some more mids or rebounding half backs

being out marked has been on the increase , I agree tho he’s likely to jag a goal or two , we cannot rely on him to draw heat away from lynch , won’t happen , he’ll get a rookie defender ,,,so play Ryan as well
