being out marked has been on the increase , I agree tho he’s likely to jag a goal or two , we cannot rely on him to draw heat away from lynch , won’t happen , he’ll get a rookie defender ,,,so play Ryan as well
Sampson is the future...start playing him now from R1 onwards...did it with Gibcus...

reckon we just go balls deep into attack and play basketball footy all year and win games like 200-190

it's what the AFL want anyways

maybe even get rid of a few defenders for some more mids or rebounding half backs
Scores like the 1972 GF. Except we're on the winning side.
One ump.
The AFL going from a crisis in umpiring numbers and introducing dissent to upping the ante from 3 to 4.

Had an interesting chat today. Been told not to worry too much results wise in the first 4 games. Tiges are gearing up for the back end of the season. (came from an ex player).

I'd rather just win 26 straight then we don't need to worry about anything period!:)

you visiting scotty turner in arrarat again ?

They AFL are completely full of s**t aren't they.
When a free kick penalty is 50 m. It's costing us games.

Lynch got a Dissent for raising eyebrows at a decision.
Nothing wrong with players and umps talking to each other.
Abuse? There was a penalty for that anyway.
And RFC is notorious slow to adapt to rule changes. Like stand
Thank Jesus we got TT and JH so Carlton don't run over us when Prestia does his half time hammy

Yeah, we smashed some honey chicken from red rooster, shot gunned 20 VB's and then watched the 95 prelim. Man did we laugh when he knocked out O'Donnell.

No Tarrant or Short by the sounds of it. Pickett, Ross, Graham and Prestia all likely available.

cant think of anything worse than playing graham underdone in round 1

will be running arounfd like he has a stick up his arse again

Hearing the injury report, here's my predicted round 1:

Grimes, Young, Broad
Vlastuin, Balta, Rioli
McIntosh, Hopper, Pickett
Martin, Riewoldt, Bolton
Rioli jr, Lynch, Cumberland
Nankervis, Prestia, Taranto
Ryan, Baker, Cotchin, Clarke
Sub: Ralphsmith

emg/ Soldo, Miller, Sonsie, Banks

I'd personally go Miller over Young given his added experience and mobility. Unless we can really win the midfield battle this could get really ugly with our defence looking a bit thin...

EDIT: Forgot about Dow. He'll likely take Clarke's spot as we'll need that midfield backup.

Now I’m worried my Thursday night next week is going to be ruined. :(

Surely with Samson's development Miller slots straight in down back and Ryan moves into 2nd ruck.
This would be my preference too. Allows us to sub out Samson for a small late (provided we have no injuries) and still have backup for Nank in the ruck.
