I reckon if India really wanted to win this, their best bet would be to declare now and put the bait to Australia, who need to win to tie the series, to set a target quickly and possibly recklessly. Even then I doubt Australia would take it.

Besides, whilst India would like to win, they don't need to so they'll bat and bat and bat. When Australia eventually bat again then they can just anchor in for a draw.

Pretty boring stuff but I guess India have to do what they have to do to win the series.

Don't you just love the way that the Indian commentators were trying to justify that their best way to win was to get a 200 run lead and then magically bowl Australia out... When the truth was that the only 200 they wanted was next to Kohli's name!?
