Obviously not gelling together yet. Will take a bit for the boys to get used to each other. Some positive signs overall, but norf obviously a bit better oiled at the moment.
You can't get static and robotic footballers to gel. There is no dynamism on field.

I'm not going to bag defenders in this game. Duggan and Cole are not the problem.

It's 100% on our midfield this. Gaff Kelly Sheed Shuey

All of them are cooked. Kelly being the biggest disappointment as we've known for some time Gaff and Shuey are well past it. Sheed has always been soft around the ball but Kelly for a player that looks like he could dominate and provide the contested inside game we despretely need he just does nothing, it's been like that ever since he came to us from Geelong. I'm done with him. Loaded contract. Pay him out at end of the season and be done with him if his not going to provide nothing. Do not want.

You can see it at the ground when coming out of defence, there are no running options to kick to.

Unless there’s some miracle we’re going to have to build the next premiership on our current first year players. Going to be painful.

Perhaps this will finally raise people's eyebrows as to just how deadset average Jamieson and Williams actually are.

Spoon team North don't even have a ruckman and aren't just breaking even with them, they're clearly beating them.

Good thing we extended Jamo's contract a few days ago.
Hugh Greenwood is dominating them.

I'm still trying to digest this information .

So destroyed in the middle, drawn into the contest and failing to take into account umps will let dropping the ball and throws go.

We would be in all sorts of trouble without McGovern and Barrass.

Ginbey second to the ball, failing to read the play but putting on hood pressure.

Chesser shown **** all.

Long had very little chances but should have hopefully already learnt the lesson of how much quicker the game is.

Kelly is just unbelievably shit. Playing for a pay cheque, no heart.

Bad news Schofield, our stoppage structure is easily worst in league. Himself and Knights have brought seven shades of **** all to the team. Either that or getting completely overridden by Simmo but I dont think so.

If the spoon team from last year with a new coach and young players with minimal AFL experience is better oiled than our team of Premiership Hero's...

I'd say that's pretty damning.

Let’s see if there isn’t an injury who gets subbed out.. there’s a heap to chose from but I bet it’s not Liam Ryan , Kelly, or any of the credits crew. Will be a long or chesser who could at least use the experience of playing.

And let’s see if he makes any positional changes at half time and takes a risk like McGovern forward
McGovern forward would be a masterstroke for sure.

The players arent good enough so options are limited. Why cant Jones rotate through inside mid? Chesser? Weve seen enough of Sheed, Kelly and Shuey underperforming on big minutes through there.

Lets assume for a minute that the game plays out as it is and we get smacked.......even then I could live with that provided Simpson rightfully laid blame on our senior players and held them accountable

So if we lose and he fronted the media and said this is unacceptable and dropped for examples sake Kelly, Cole, Duggan and made a statement, the loss becomes a bit more palatable

What will likely happen though is we lose and (for examples sake) Chesser, Long and O'Neil get the axe. Which is what has been fundamentally wrong with our selection process for a long time. Our senior guys, the ones letting us down, get a free pass

Midfield are ****ing hopeless. Kelly looks like he isn't interested. Sheed, thanks for that one kick in 2018 but if any club offered pick 30 for him I'd take it and run. Shuey is on his last legs. O'Neil isn't going to make it. Gaff kills all momentum when he gets it. If these players are going to get smacked around in the midfield by ****ing north then it's time to call it. Rip the ****ing bandaid off and put Ginbey, Chesser, Culley, Hewett in the middle.
