Umpiring decision was terrible but they kicked another after that.

We were terrible most of the game against a team that would have lost to Fitzroy in their last season. At home.

The coach didn’t get us up, he didn’t make changes quickly enough and the game plan was terrible.

But yeah let’s just soldier on and see what happens

Nice fight back ultimately had momentum ripped out by a very shocking HTB. Umps have to be consistent in their ball ups. One second they are calling a ball up as soon as it is locked in. The other time they let it go on for an eternity. Got to feel for Yeo. He’s tackling, no prior and cannot get his hands free if someone is laying on top of him.

Sure there were dodgy decisions on both sides of the game, but why did it take til the last quarter for us to fire up?

Why did it take almost three full quarters of getting belted by using the same bad midfield setups for the Coach to change things up and inject some speed and agility in there?

Why did we miss 17 shots for goal - many of which were easy shots. You kick two of those straight and we win.

Can’t wait for the 5 things we haven’t learned in the last 5 years to come out from the club tomorrow.

We were always in the game but had 2.15

We forced a lot of Kangaroos turnovers but couldn't kick a goal to save themselves in the first 3 quarters.

Would have been a relatively comfortable win without the poor kicking (field kicking especially) even with our injuries and 2nd rate team playing.

17 behinds is what killed us.
You can't win a game of footy when you just miss goals you should be kicking.
There was probably 5-7 Goals we left on the table today which would have had us with a comfortable win and probably leading at each quarter.

Yeo was poor for 3 of the 4 qtrs. His last was an epic but you can't expect to put that effort in over a match.

i am absolutely filthy with that ump who penalized Yeo. Should never, never ever umpire again. That was only one of many bad decisions all day, but that one decision cost us the game. Simple as that.
