Final score 13.7 to 6.11. Majors to Fullarton, Sharp and Darryl Jr. Think pretty much everyone cbf by the last quarter.

Yeah my daughter was playing Netty this morning. Two half games for grading. Took some convincing to get the girls back out on the court for the second game. Enjoying Zooper Doopers in the shade seemed the more sensible option for the girls.

The final practice match for the Lions VFL started in quick fashion with goals to rookies Jaspa Fletcher and Shadeau Brain.

The ball movement through the middle of the ground was the highlight for much of the contest with Jarryd Lyons and Noah Answerth showing their class.

AFL emergencies Darcy Fort and Harry Sharp did their chances of a senior call-up no harm with impressive performances.

Shame I missed it - cant wait to see Shadeau live this year and DMW again - i reckon both will play AFL at some point and the rate Linc is going, they may be worthy come mid season or so especially DMW due to his maturity and potentially ability to play second ruck - yeah crazy i know but like his Dad has a great leap and then allows us another mid instead of tall.

Listening to the Rayner and McCluggage podcast they had Lester on this week. The two guys Lester gave a rap for coming out of the reserves game were Lyons and Sharp. I would love to see Sharp really come on this year. His running would be very handy in the firsts.

Lester has had a couple of niggles in the last 6 weeks or so but should be right to play this week in the VFL.

Will be an interesting game for our smalls. McCarthys spot in the seniors looks vulnerable if someone can step up. Lohmann, Brain and Coleman would all have their eyes on it.
