If Bytel comes in you'd think Windy just plays mostly wing along with Byrnes and Hill. Maybe give Clark a couple of goes out there. I don't think we need to change anything up too much.

Owens is one of our most important players right now, I think it's too much of a risk to take him away from our forward line.
Yeah I doubt we’ll do anything extravagant, especially seeing how little Mase actually lined up on the wing so far, and I noticed him forward of the ball when it was up the other end a lot in the 2nd half as well.

So Sharman may actually be a rough chance, to replace Mace up forward, not on the wing.

I reckon he's a sneaky chance.
Not sure but it seems it is certainly not a Steele type injury.

Another thing reported - Wood is the only player in the League to have 20 plus disposals and a goal in the 3 rounds so far

They had Bytel on the wings at points in our first game too. It's just another midfield rotation at this point, they'll be able to cover it for sure.

I've gone over that last qtr a few times and I dunno.

I reckon he woke up on Sunday feeling alright.... Maybe.

It’s an AC I’m sure he said after the game

Doubt he plays, even if it’s a grade one it’s a very painful injury
Yes, lets see, but with you, doubt he plays, if so with a jab I would say. Chest marks and down on output but a half fit Wood on current form is better than 2022 Wood.
Who would have thought we would be sweating on Mason Wood as a vital player in our squad? What a great story. Won best clubman last year, must be very popular with the playing group as well.

I dont think Sharman showed enough yesterday to warrant inclusion. He played on a wing and hardly got near the ball. He simply plays with zero intensity and looks way down on confidence.

The cupboard is pretty bare, but if we need run then Connolly would be next in line.
Sharman hardly got near the ball?

Equal 6th in disposals with 18 ... 5 marks... 3 tackles .... 4 clearances

Doesn't sound like someone who hardly got near the ball

Seems like some are getting sucked into the Vortex

Wasn’t prominent, but wasn’t bad by any means… at least, that’s what I saw.

Big No to the jab from me. Not worth the risk. Just not worth it at all.

There is no other way to put it, but he is playing beautiful football at the moment.

Watching the replay I’m pretty sure I head the crowd chanting Mason wooood ( a La Collingwoooood) but didn’t hear it at the ground.

Did anyone hear this or am I dreaming? Quite early in the game.

Speaking of Wood, wonder how the coach that nearly destroyed his career, Brad Scott, felt about his game on the wing on the weekend?
Interesting to hear Windy mention post match that Wood received some feedback at the end of last year about his contested game and how he has worked to fix that. Wasn't quite clear if that feedback came from the old coaching panel or the new one, but either way, it is a great sign of a player still being able to improve the fundamentals at his age.

You would be amazed how many players are jabbed prior to a game. Anyway it was only me surmising.

I watched the game and I knew he had 18 disposals, but he had ZERO affect on the game. He took one good contested mark over a much smaller opponent. At one stage in the 1st quarter he didnt body line the ball and the opposition picked it up and it cost a goal. He immediately dropped his head, its not the type of response you want to see. It didnt change his attack on the ball thats for sure. I used to be a fan, but he is currently playing with no intensity or purpose and should be the last picked of the available players IMO.

Reported on SEN, wording coming out Woods shoulder injury is only minor.

May still miss weeks but in all probability not the 6-8 reported last night.

Wasn't listening to SEN myself, and no idea if Tim is part of us here (hello if your are ;)) however I offer the following as we wait patiently for something official from the club
