We can only hope so!With how good Buckley looks coming back from his ACL I do have some faith that this is going to be handled well and he's going to come back looking good, think one of our head trainers played a key role and rehabbing one of the big NRL boys back from his knee injury.
Toby Bedford | Hamstring | 1 week |
Harry Perryman | Hamstring | 1 week |
Leek Aleer | Quad | 1 week |
Phil Davis | Groin | 2-3 weeks |
Nick Madden | Foot | 2-4 weeks |
Braydon Preuss | Back | 5 weeks |
Jacob Wehr | Shoulder | 7-9 weeks |
Darcy Jones | Knee | Season |
Bedford seems to be smashing his rehab? Don't remember what it said last week but definitely don't think it was 2 weeks, coming back from hamstrings is always going to be nervous and even more so with how far ahead of schedule he is but if he can get right he can be real impact guy for us.

Looks like Bedford is ahead of schedule in his rehab. Both him, Perryman and Aleer listed as 1 week away now.
More importantly, here's a snippet from the report
The trio have returned to full training and are set to put their hands up for selection next week.
It said 4-5 weeks for Bedford the week before. I guess credit to our medical staff in this instance. When he first got injured, I think it was stated that he would be out for about 3 monthsBedford seems to be smashing his rehab? Yeah think when he was first injured we were looking at a return about halfway through the year but now there's a chance he's playing next week, absolutely credit to our medical staff that's really impressive. It said 4-5 weeks for Bedford the week before. Kenners out for the season.
I think he’ll want a full rehab at the club. Might be spending some time with Darcy Jones.I reckon he should pull the pin and finish up. He’s been a great servant to the club but I reckon his body is failing him and it’s time for that next batch to come through. I wouldn’t be surprised if by seasons end he calls it quits. Good player better person.
Ditto with Phil Davies. He has been a loyal and excellent player, but has had at least two injuries this year. When Phil decided to play on this year, he did state that he had worries whether his body could cope. Phil’s contract expires this year but Kennedy’s expires in 2024.I reckon he should pull the pin and finish up.
