McKenna seems to have lost the dash he had with us, doesn't look as fit.

He seems to have lost that absolute top end gas but late in that quarter he tracked the footy from one half back flank to the opposite wing to the opposite forward pocket in one unbroken play and was still outrunning the Collingwood backs at the tail end of a 125 metre sprint.

His attitude may be shit and he may have a limited footy brain but he remains an absolute power athlete.

Collingwood got lucky last year with a few close wins, but they were an average side with a couple of good players who rolled the dice and got on a run against a bunch of ordinary sides through the middle of the year thanks to a soft draft.

Most teams got the tactics wrong against them. They tried to slow the game down against Collingwood. That played into their hands because they could attack with more aggression. The way to play them is to stick at attacking them through the corridor. Sure they'll make you look silly a few times when you turn it over, but you'll catch them out enough to make them question their game and they start getting caught in no man's land.

This year Collingwood has been an excellent team with Cox and Cameron showing good form early and the addition of De Goey and Mitchell making their midfield better. Now that they have no rucks, the disadvantage in the midfield, they are at the same standard as last year.

Look how this game is playing out. Collingwood is on top when Brisbane turn it over a few times in the first quarter. Brisbane keeps at it and completely opens Collingwood up. Now Brisbane takes its foot off the gas and Collingwood regathers. Now they make a run on and Brisbane will be playing they have concrete in their boots.
