Just when you thought they were dead...

Just die already, but in all seriousness just shows you what happens when you get a few injuries, Geelong looked ordinary the first three rounds because of injuries, now they are getting players back they look much better. Even Melbourne backline looked completely disorganised without Lever.

Geelong, Lions, Collingwood have all looked a fair bit better than us so far. Sydney were ordinary at times but that was scary good from Geelong.

Bliscavs is pretty much everything you’d want Luke Jackson to become. Ruck, play mid, impact fwd or back as needed. Must be the most versatile player in the AFL.

Don't agree with the injury thing. Stkilda almost went undefeated through the first 5 with a shitload of injuries. We went alright last year when we had no defender for the first month or so. Brisbane and Essendon flogged us. One or two players wouldn't have fixed it.

Sorry Robbie Fox runs past the ball, falls over and runs into Duncan and we have to 'check if Duncan was malicious'

I think injury played a part in the round 1 game but that was in game. Not sure how they were so poor in rounds 2 and 3. Okay maybe Carlton were very good in round 2 but this Geelong team really shouldn't have trouble against gc. From that round 3 loss it's been quite a turn around.

Saints are flag favourites
It’s a long season but Lyon is doing an incredible job given their depleted forward structure. I didn’t think Ratten was a terrible coach but this is the difference between having an elite coach and an average one.

Every year I say Carlton are shit and people tell me "Nah, top four, top four! Must be!"

Suck my eggs.

Carlton are ****ing crap I've been saying it for years.

Also lol Carlton had like the 5 highest carlton draught winners on the field, how much do they piss about with the pill?
imagine if we ended up trading them Clarry, he'd have 250 disposals every game and 10,000 Supercoach points.

Carlton are shit.

Hard to ignore the saints now, they aren't star studded line up but all their players are playing really well.
They all put in. Pressure high, force the turnover, score from intercept. They all run hard and play their role. Defence looks really solid as usual under Ross. Won't miss finals now. Still not convinced a genuine premiership contender yet, but if they can keep this up and still play like this come Round 20, then why not.

Not sure who is a premiership contender atm, Geelong just starting to look good, Collingwood obviously just beat the saints. Certainly no standouts yet.

Definitely the most open it's been in a long time. Pies still faves for mine. Cats will end up top 4 as will Lions. Crows looking the dangerous floater. Gonna have to play well to get through the Saints. Port starting to roll as well as Dogs, but can't take either of them seriously just yet. And Carlton keep giving us reasons to not take them seriously either. And Swans look strangely off, mostly through injury, but still, that wasn't a Swan s like performance on the wknd. Bombers, who knows. Clearly playing better under Scott, but another who we can't trust just yet.

Guess you could say considering the 4 'best' teams in the comp at about round 10 last year were us, Saints, Blues and Dockers the real contenders probably haven't shown their hand yet. You can rule teams out though
The easiest to rule out: Hawthorn, West Coast, Gold Coast, North, Freo, Richmond, GWS.

The early risers: Collingwood, Saints, Bombers, Crows

Old faithful: Geelong

Sometimes a good, sometimes a shit: the rest.
