2021 is three years after the flagI'm not but to suggest we immediately rebuild the year after a flag would have been met with total derision from 100% of people.

2021 is three years after the flag
Interesting snippet at around the 15 minute mark acknowledging that there has been about 10-12 changes before this season new dietitian, GM, Development coach, Head of development and strength coach. Basically irrespective of whether he is there or not the pathway to getting back to being a powerhouse has started.
Well he went from Football Manager to General Manager Football replacing Vozzo? I personally have no idea if that's the same role in a different name or what. Not sure if Sherman is still their in a football operations role and what if anything that has to do with the on-field performance. Anyway at least some changes are being made.Except we have the same D grade GM we had last year (Bell). The guy must be the most lacking out of any in the league.
We could have been had we ditched the "corale and intercept" game plan that was evidently past it's used by date one third of the way through 2020.Half the reason we suck is the club didn't realise we were in a rebuild until it was too late. We 100% thought we were in premiership mode until half way into 2021.
There's only 2 big ones (albeit, they are really big):Lets not pretend its the only misjudgement.
he pretty much started the rebuild in 2022. So it's one season after you suggest. I've seen teams carry on in denial for 5-6 seasons before they realised a rebuild was needed. That was us after 1994. Richmond are possibly heading that way now.2021 is three years after the flag
Jesus Christ mate. Since 2022 we are among the worst football teams to ever play AFL. This isn't a planned rebuild it's imposed. There's been zero strategy to this "rebuild". We will scape up draftees like beggers for no other reason than we suck.he pretty much started the rebuild in 2022. So it's one season after you suggest. In Fitzpatrick's letter yesterday(most people either missed it, or didn't mention it) he stated along the lines of they'll be hitting the draft hard for the next couple of years. For me, that takes us through tot he end of 2025, which coincidentally, is also the end of Simmo's contract.Jesus Christ mate. Since 2022 we are among the worst football teams to ever play AFL. Exactly.Did anyone seriously think we'd be headed for a rebuild when we were one game off top 2? Find me a club who would've suddenly put the queue in the rack and commenced a rebuild in the same situation.
That's an interesting theoretical, but not remotely what Simpson said.Yeah, ridiculous statement. So in theory Jack Williams could be kicking bags in the WAFL and we’d keep playing Darling ahead of him week after week in the hope that he turns his form around?
Bonkers.

For a payrise I hope.I've been using the words such as method, synergy, look after etc at team meetings at worrk.
I have a call with HR tomorrrow
Yep, he's speaking HR language. That love that stuff. For a payrise I hope.
Lost on most who just want to blame somebody/anybody.In Fitzpatrick's letter yesterday(most people either missed it, or didn't mention it) he stated along the lines of they'll be hitting the draft hard for the next couple of years. Perhaps they actually did plan this whole thing out, hence the contract length, to determine whether he's the best person moving forward, or to give someone else a shot.
Either way, they do indeed have a strategy. I don't think supporters are going to like it very much in the short-term though.
Well all I’m going off is the club’s tweet. I haven’t seen the presser.
“We could have everyone available and we wouldn’t be dropping him.” “He is one game away from turning it around.”
How else am I supposed to take it?

It's been a combination of us rebuilding, but not going hard enough by holding onto a few players that we should have gotten rid of and the horror injury run (could be the clubs fault, could just be luck).Jesus Christ mate.
