Out - Darling + Jones
In - L.Edwards + Trew with Bazzo as sub

Bazzo played sub earlier this season and it can work because Rotham who will start back can be moved forward or in the ruck to allow Bazzo to play down back. Bazzo also isn't coming off a leg injury unlike Chesser + Long who might be the 2 other available options. Chesser + Long can build up through the WAFL.

At the moment the only other returnee could be Hurn which means Bazzo to the WAFL + Trew as sub. SPS along with Winder were the only the TBC on the injury list, the question is why would they list him as TBC if it was a 1-2 week injury. I don't think SPS will be back for a while.

Hey lads!

(In b4 the "he didn't say he comes in peace cause everyone does that") haha

But just curious, i've seen plenty from a joking? POV about tanking etc and experimenting, but what will your changes actually be, and what the actual belief behind it? It's not like Hawthorn are a consistent side to judge, we could come out and dominate or play like we did against the Dees for the first qtr or half.

At this point all we're doing is shuffling guys who've just come back from injuries into the team to replace this weeks injuries. Rinse and repeat every week

Discounting our two first year cat 2 rookies who probably both are at a WAFL reserves level and our first year ruckman we basically have just enough players to field a side.

Jones almost certainly injured. I'd suggest Trew into the side and Chesser on limited minutes unless we plan on bringing someone back from a longer injury straight to AFL level.

Jones possibly out (as Phil said), SPS possible in, otherwise Trew or Chesser in with Trew or Chesser being sub is the most likely at this stage.

Also possible Bazzo comes in and a Defender goes forward. Barrass has gone forward before, and Bazzo could be a chance in the forward line. It's all just deckchair shuffling though. Barrass forward would look bad, but not enough by itself to be proof of going the tank.

Plenty here calling for the club to tank, but I don't believe we will. We are still however a genuine chance for the wooden spoon because the list is in injury purgatory and our confidence is totally gone.

If we are going to tank however, expect to see two of Barrass, Kelly and Allen rested (for some combination of Trew, Chesser, Jack Williams or Harry Barnett). Regardless, a Hawthorn loss will require something really blatant the way we're travelling.

The Eagles not tanking will cause a lot of angst around here, but they'll get over it.

This weekends game should be compelling viewing if you can stand to watch.

That’s a premiership side right there

If I'm the coach and I'm serious about long term improvement and ensuring my players give every contest 100% effort I'm dropping Dom Sheed to the magoos this week for the below effort when I do the video review. Come back when you want to play two way football Dom instead of leaving your team mates out to dry. We don't have the players to do this? I don't care, play Trew in his spot. We want to lose anyway, if the AFL ask for a please explain show them this footage and explain the club needs to do something to improve standards.

Actively slowing then running away from a defensive effort while Kelly has to come from behind another player to pressure both.

Have a spell Dom.

Hawks have opened up $1.28 favourites…. Even the bookies can’t see them throwing this one

That's a side with a whole lot of hurt factor.

For supporters.

Suggest just having half the side form a protective circle around Oscar and the other half a protective circle around Ginbey.

Maybe also put them in giant zorb balls for extra protection given our luck:

Is he being lazy or too Rowell conscious?

Not denying he should have gone at the guy who was about to collect the footy to put pressure on him but looks like he’s incorrectly focused on Rowell. Poor decision making

Rowell was just far too good- first to the ball every time then explosive break away. Lessons cost at times.

Don't worry we will win this weekend. Hawthorn know what's at stake. WCE have struggled in Tassie in the past even with a good team, but there is to much to lose for hawthorn to win. MSD 1st pick is huge like i said before WCE will end up 16th this year with Hawthorn & NM wanting the earlier picks in the draft. We still are the sh***iest team in the comp, at least the other teams have had a few years of early draft picks. We will come good but its going to take time & a few good drafts.
