He stayed to the end of the game so it couldn't have been too bad. Probably just precautionary.

Is it not the same spot where he had his ribs cracked earlier this year? Wouldn't be surprised if they were broken again.

Port Adelaide is hopeful Travis Boak will be able to take on Richmond at the MCG on Sunday, but he will have to pass fitness tests to play.
Boak has been cleared of any significant internal damage after he copped another heavy hit to the ribs from Demons hard nut Jack Viney in the second quarter of the Power’s win against Melbourne.
He played on but was subbed out of the game in the third quarter.
Following the game Boak was taken to hospital, where he had scans.
They cleared him of any significant damage, but it was his second blow to the area this season after he was involved in a heavy collision with West Coast’s Jeremy McGovern in a pre-season encounter which led to him missing round 1.
Spearhead Charlie Dixon is expected to also be in the mix to take on the Tigers.

Travis Boak has been cleared of serious injury after being subbed out of Yartapuulti's win over Narrm.

Fantasia was scheduled to play this week so once again the timeline has blown out. It's come to the point where you either play or just leave. He's a waste of medical and rehabilitation resources.

That was already flagged in some footy media, and that he probably won't be available for the Hawthorn game. Mind you when I say flagged the club only says 'test'.

At least Dixon is getting time to rest the knee. Was playing while basically a cripple at times in 2021/22.
