Injury report: Farrell ruled out for season

Kane Farrell has suffered a high-grade hamstring strain, with the defender to be sidelined for the rest of the season.

Young midfielder Hugh Jackson will also spend some time on the sidelines, as he recovers from a knee issue. Jackson underwent an arthroscopy last week, with a knock at training causing a minor lateral meniscus injury.

has been ruled out of the remainder of the 2024 season, with scans confirming a small and stable laceration to his spleen. Finlayson felt pain in his sternum after a collision on Sunday and reported worsening symptoms following the game.

Despite improvement overnight, the 28-year-old underwent further investigation on Monday which revealed the extent of the injury. The forward does not require surgery, but he will need an extensive period to rest and heal.
