Dazzler's footwear:

$15 laceless black work shoes from BigW

$70 Adidas plain white sneakers from Jim Kidd, possibly Adidas, or a knock off

$30 hiking/camping shoes from Aldi

brown laceless all-rounder type shoe from Williams, let's say $60ish

BigW thongs.

Am I doing footwear wrong?
Yes. Get some proper work shoes.
Go pork an old lady for some blundstones

Anyone else watch the new season of Black Mirror? Thought it was lacking compared to previous ones

Episode 1 - Classic Black Mirror but got very meta
Episode 2 - Dark but thought the end was predictable
Episode 3 - Super dark ending
Episode 4 - wtf?
EPisode 5 - Double wtf?

Last 2 episodes got away from what classic Black Mirror is about IMO

Yes

One of my favourite Netflix shows:

Ep 1: Loved it, thought it was a perfect start to the season
Ep 2: Yes predictable, still creepy in moments but a bit meh. And the girl slipping over in the creek literally made me throw my hands up and say "that's so lame" out loud to myself.
Ep 3: Loved it, expected a very different ending - the wife to fall in love with Hartnett in Paul's replicant knowingly or unknowingly. ****en dark ending which I really liked.
Ep 4: Was pretty shit and not even about tech.
Ep 5: Again not even about tech, bit still found it entertaining enough. Could take it or leave it.

The last 2 were more for the sake of it and were probably better Love Death + Robots kinda stories.

That last interactive one was cool as * - haven’t seen the new one yet

They seem to consistently get quality actors which really makes it good. Even one of the shitter ones had Zazie Beats which made it watchable.

Thinking about these people in the sub makes me feel ill. Imagine if the worst case happened and they're just sitting on the ocean floor waiting for their air to run out. ****ed up.

Years ago we were working for a Japanese company near the Mariana trench and crossed it loads of times, at one point we had about 7 or 8 k's under the keel and I couldn't resist throwing a lrg stainless shackle over the side late at night and just contemplating it's journey to the sea bed!

Would be horrible

Sitting in the dark with no connection to the outside world and knowing time is running out

The operators of this sound like they’ve taken some significant shortcuts given the risks associated

Did see an interesting tweet last night comparing the rescue efforts and media attention for this incident to dozens of refugees being lost at sea due to their boat sinking

The issues they've had with the thing I'm shocked anyone with half a brain would get in it.

It’d be ****ed, but if it’s any consolation I assume running out of oxygen is a gradual process and you’d presumably pass out first. Not as horrible as drowning but still horrible nonetheless

From what I’ve seen I’d be reluctant to get in it for a short trip around Coral Bay in 20 feet of water

Going down into thousands of feet of water. Get ****ed

TBH so many worse options to die. You start to get a bad headache, then start to get high and euphoric before passing out and never wake up.

Sure, but I'm assuming the hours of anticipation would drive the people crazy.
