Bought shoes for my wedding there so kinda sentimental I guess

They're nice. Was about to get a pair yesterday after coming to terms that I'm never buying those w***er Thursday boots. Iconic had a sale so went with some Windsor Smith's I can hammer the shit out if instead.

Nothing, they look great, but it's $335 AU for something I can't try on. And I wanted some boots to wear daily - that price is far too much for that. Like Dan I have a pair of seude Chelsea's but only wear them nice places like massage parlours and court.

I've been with my SO for 15+ years.
One night quite early on I was at the movies just getting the SO popcorn because she was sick and movie popcorn is her favourite food.

As I got there, a group of 30 half cut cougars turned up - they were all seeing a preview of Sex and the City through a 94.5 radio comp.

I had a proposition from one to "come with her in more ways than one".
I explained apologetically that my girlfriend in the car waiting.

"The offer stands, but she probably won't be there when I'm done"


I took off slightly terrified

What's the prediction? This el Nino s**t got me all excited

Short-term projection is a neutral Southern Annular Mode (SAM) for the next three weeks or so. A neutral SAM during winter has little influence mostly.

Longer-term, most of Australia is projected to have a warmer and drier July to October as El Nino takes effect coupled with a positive IOD. A positive IOD leads to a drying effect for the southern half of Australia.

It was a reasonably mild Summer, which is not entirely a bad thing. Don't think it cracked 40° which is rare. Didn't have many of those days where it was basically mandatory to hit the beach because of the heat.

December 2022 to February 2023 was cooler than the record breaking such period we had the previous year (December 2021 to February 2022). Despite that, it was still above average.
