Yes there's upsets, but after what we did last season, losing to north at home was diabolical - just shouldnt have happened. nevertheless, for 28 years we've been dishing up these sorts of results. Winning the unwinnable and losing the unloseable. We are the Freo Dockers.

You can’t trust Fremantle when there is any expectation.
They are specialists at the smash and grab win where they catch a fancied opponent unawares every now and then.
The minute any sense of increased expectations arrives, and consistency week to week is required, they turn to water. They are not taken seriously as a genuine threat in this competition.


The above paragraph could broadly sum up the 28 years existence of the FFC apart from a brief period from 2012 to 15 where we were a genuine AFL powerhouse.

I’m expecting some trade speculation around Darcy because of Jackson’s game and nothing else but reminders of how disappointing we have been all season.
 
I really don’t understand how the so called footy experts don’t see how
good Amiss is.
Everyone knows how long KP’s take to develop and how important they
really are.
There are always the next gen mids coming through, but the reality is building
a good spine is an important part of the premiership puzzle.
 
Amiss should go into whatever room Nathan Fyfe went into in 2010 and the entire competition will be forced to notice this freak who can outbody, outlead, outmark, snaffle shit off the deck and smash packs.

He has more spice than the frugal gourmet.

Tonga, Joey Montagna did do a congrats JLo piece on First Crack, basically lauding him for using Youngy in the middle on Danger. Only went for a few seconds (actually maybe there was some footage) and Kingy and Lewis were keen to move on and changed topic as per usual.
 
That North Melbourne game is going to come back to haunt us, it already had in a sense, there was no excuse to lose that game, you can sit there and blame the umpiring decision at the end of the game all you like, we should never have been trailing to them to begin with.

We were putrid in that game and Clarkson’s behaviour on the sidelines was nothing short of bizarre!
 


Could not let this slip. What in earth is Tom Stewart doing in AA teams this year? He’s been terrible by his standards.

Even better - Brad Johnson BROUGHT HIM IN this week after his performance at the weekend. That’s….. interesting, to say the least.

It's a solid enough team until you see Jamie Elliot in the forward line, just hilarious. I remember Pies fans saying that they wanted this dude dropped ages ago.
