If we lost a QF to Melbourne we'd have to beat either Brisbane or Port at home. Don't necessarily have concerns facing Melbourne but IMO we'd be better off playing the Lions or Port at home
Additionally if we lose to Melbourne we potentially have a SF against Carlton, negating our home advantage again

All l know is that we need to beat 3 teams in the finals. Don't care who and when, but preferably all in Melbourne.

Yep agree. I'd like to win the next 5 matches.
My ladder predictor has us finishing on top and the Dees fourth, so we’d face off against them in Wk 1 of finals. I’d much rather play Brisbane or Port. If we lose to Dees, we could face the Blues - the side from 5-8 that I’d least like to face.

Yes, I had really hoped we’d draw Port or Lions at The G in first week of finals but that’s looking less and less likely. The Melbourne-then-Carlton Finals scenario would be difficult to survive, so hopefully we can avoid it by beating the Dees first up.

I also would prefer not to play melbourne week 1 of finals. Much prefer to get them in a Prelim or GF after theve been tired out by a few finals. On the other hand, Id be fine with getting Brisbane or Port at the MCG first up

Assuming Carlton wins this weekend Melbourne have the motivation to win one more game to make sure Carlton can't snatch their top 4 spot but beyond that it's a bit of a raffle.
They're in a pretty good spot actually given they'll play the second last H&A match of the season and if a loss would effectively guarantee a "home" final against us at the G I'd be surprised if that isn't the result we get.

Caleb Poulter, the king of the helicopter punt is a very ordinary footballer. The fact he's a regular for the Dogs says it all. They have the worst group of flankers and wingmen in the comp.
Baker, Poulter, Vandemeer, McNeil, Scott etc. Yuck.
