Wouldn’t change my point anyway, I’d prefer a neutral QF and home state advantage PF and GF.
Wouldn’t make much difference to Collingwood if it was Melbourne or Carlton

Fast footy is where it's at. Collingwood Port grand final. Two best teams all year. Short flat spots before finals whilst they were probably loading up their training to peak for finals.

While I doubt we beat Brisbane at Marvel (we would at the MCG), Port will 100% be barracking for us next week because Brisbane have the Saints at the Gabba the week after

I think you've over thought it. I don't really get it. Why are we so keen for Melbourne in the qualifying final?
Just a personal view that if we win that and other games go according to ladder position… ( big if) then we will have an easier path to the premiership with home state advantage in the remaining games.
I don’t think there’s any “ we” with that theory, it’s more a “ me” lol
Edit I should have put a wink or smile at the end of my previous post because it was not serious.
“ we” are a bunch of randoms on an Internet forum, and our concerns or otherwise have no bearing on the outcome.
Speculating on the variables is just harmless fun.

I'm more anyone but Port in the QF. As I think they're the only team who can compete with us if we're on and I think the home ground advantage diminishes in finals when teams are going to be up regardless of the crowd.
