If draper is going to play it might aswell be this week or just wrap him up for the season.

In - draper stringer setterfield
Out - Phillips kelly cox
Sub - cox
Totally agree. Needs to play for us to be a chance.

Hi, been following along for a while and thought I might as well join and add to the post count.
I'm not breaking new ground in saying put a fork in us, we're done for the season.
I think we won 7 last year, and this year we barely got over the 2 worst teams in a while twice to get 11 wins, so we pretty much morally won 7 so far this year. Moral mathematics is not a thing?
GWS are travelling a lot better at the moment and if we win, then the hope that kills will grow stronger until the pies swat us away, or worse win that one and get a 50 drubbing in an elim. final.
GWS are an honest team, which I'm not sure we are. Seems like a lot of players don't turn up.
I'm liking that Tsatas is getting a crack.
Stringer, if available, I don't know...flatters to whatever.
I'd like Draper and setterfield back, but then we might win....

If we morally lost to WC, does that mean we morally beat them last year when they actually beat us?

A lot of pumping up for a team that took half the season to start playing some decent footy and is sitting below us on the ladder coming in with two losses on the trot.

Fwiw I think they’ll probably beat us but if we’re using GWS at the yardstick for an honest club I reckon we could be in some strife

Well, I'm not gonna die on this hill on this. But it seems to me that in the last half of the season, I'd back GWS to put in a shift before Essendon. I think you can offer many reasons/pretexts/excuses for that, but it appears to me that GWS are buying into the coaches vibe and not suffering too many injuries and Essendon are shagged and the coach seems OK with us being a nothing-burger this year, and next year is for sheep-stations. Feel free to correct me.

Why baldwin out?
Bzt on riccardi. Laverde on hogan
Baldwin as the 3rd, he was playing smaller on Saturday aswell. I’d actually like baldwin as a Toby match up if they played him deep, has the strength and can go with Toby on the lead.
Kellys the better matchup than Baldwin for Toby if were trying to win

Do Baldwin's knees support him being able to change direction when Toby does and still go with him on a lead? Because as soon as Toby realises they don't (if they don't), it's all over red rover and Toby kicks 8.

Giants play Hogan, Riccardi and Brown. I'd be comfortable with Baldwin on either of the first two alongside Zerk, and Laverde on Brown.
I haven't watched the VFL, so don't know how Baldwin plays.
Is he a May (from Melbourne) type? He's listed at "only" 193cm, so not a giant height wise, but a solid, strong type?
Zerk is listed as a bit taller, but seems lightly-built. And Ridley, when back, seems best used as an interceptor.
I guess I'm wondering do we have a gorilla backman floating around? Or is that why McKay is mentioned?

Definitely a May type defender.

Baldwin on Greene is a terrible matchup, fortunately there's multiple other forwards Baldwin would play on. Consider him a KPP Defender despite his height (like May) and he plays on KPP Forwards. Not Toby Greene's.

Baldwin - Riccardi
Zerk-Thatcher - Hogan
Laverde - Brown
McGrath - Greene

Oh No Oops GIF by America's Got Talent

IF (and this is a big if) McGrath actually takes his defensive responsibilities seriously like he did earlier in the season (I vividly recall him giving Cameron a bath for instance), then he's probably our best Greene matchup we have.

However, if he plays the type of inconsistent, unaccountable footy that's typified his last month, then your gif unfortunately will be warranted.

Baldwin has looked back to his best this year. Doesn’t look like his knee is hampering his movement at all.
