I don’t care who wins this match and will enjoy either of them losing. As for the unlikely possibility of Carlton making the GF to play us I would actually be ok with that. They’ve won 3 from 3 grand finals against us in my lifetime and 5 from 6 over the whole journey. My life would be complete witnessing us win a GF against them. As for the prospect of losing to them, well unfortunately it’s almost status quo.

What the hell is wrong with Port Adelaide supporters? There are still thousands of tickets left for their semi against the Giants. I remember when we upset them in 2002 without Bucks the ground was only half full and they were hot favourites. They are portrayed as fanatical fans who live and breathe footy- joke. How pathetic. Their board is showing more passion in tearing their coach to shreds rather than talking up their chances against the Giants.

Most are unemployed and centrelink wont front the cost of tickets for them. I heard from social media that a couple of supporters are going to take wirecutters to the game and create another entrance gate...

Yep. I too ventured into their forum for a peek and you’re right, they’re almost all just raging against their coach. So many comments also about not caring if they lose because “Collingwood will destroy us in front of 90000 Pies fans“. Don’t know that I’ve ever seen a more defeatist attitude from a supporter base on the eve of a semi-final. Bizarre.
