Shattered for adams. Could be a blessing in disguise though… we have been talking all year about carrying one too many slower midfield players in our 22… straight swap for daicos is clearly an injection of pace.

Crisp mitchell lipinski Pendlebury all to get more midfield minutes to cover his loss.

Edit: I think Lipinski’s role has been marginalised a little with Mitchell coming in and Adams taking the mid minutes from the fwd half.

All week you’ve been making the case which I agree with, that Lippa is very damaging linking up and hitting targets I50.
Why would we then move him into Adams’ grunt role and lose that important contribution to the team.
Do you really think he’s more damaging in the Adams role?

If it is a hammy for Adams even minor, given his history with hammies does he become the Moore story of 2018 if we make the GF and is available to play?

He wouldn't be right for the GF I wouldn't think.

I’ve seen the video a few times and it does look like a simple corkie,as Noble gets him high up on the leg.But then when you see how unhappy Adams looks when he goes off the field,it makes you think that it must be more than a simple corkie.

I see the footage that Noble has given him a corkie. Looks that to me rather than a hammy.

Didn’t someone say he was back out after it?

Even though so many on here call for Adams to be dropped, even after his most recent performance which is unbelievable, he’s super important and hard to replace his toughness. I would think Mitchell will need more time on ground if Adams isn’t right.

Lipinski will cheat the hangman too.

Even though I was impressed with Finn at AFL level, he’s too green to play him in a prelim so rule that out.

Nick in for Adams with no other changes if he’s not right. Someone else will need to do the Adams role.

Yeah I’ve had a good hard look at it already and there’s nothing in the mechanism to suggest hammy. He also didn’t grab exactly where you would expect for a hamstring injury, as his fingertips would have been close to hamstrings but the rest of his hand would have been over hip/ITB.

I can’t shed any more light on it, as you say, no point trying to run out a cork at training. Fingers crossed.
