Nope. And that should probably be investigated but we know that the AFL has had their fill of concussion drama for the year now so it will be ignored.

Port Adelaide doctor copped a roasting, which he deserved, will the Carlton doc cop the same?

I was surprised Cripps didn’t get a concussion test. Weitering’s hit didn’t look that bad but him stumbling around after was.

Why do we struggle? Our last up form against Port and Giants at the 'G is 10+ goal wins. Won't be that easy but we should be confident.

I don't think the Lions have it easy at all. Carlton have a lot of talent, are relatively healthy and have momentum.

The only reason I have the Lions winning is home ground advantage AND because Carlton doesn't have the small defenders to contain Brisbane's smalls.

Carlton winning at this time of year... it's an unfortunate business. I blame the person who responded to a post of mine in June saying: "Carlton won't make finals."
This is the sort of loose behaviour that invites misfortune. Shame on you. Look what you've done!

I reckon if Goodwhinge lived in inner Melbourne and drove an SUV, I’d be checking if Brodie Grundy and Josh Schache were the culprits who let down his tyres…
You reckon they wouldn’t feel deflated this morning.

Goodwinge in his presser tonight, rueing his bad luck actually said and I quote "weve lost two finals by less than a kick...".

Talk about spinning the narrative, I wonder which kicks he thinks are worth 7 points?
One thing is pretty clear. Voss has learnt from Fly to drill end game scenarios and tactics and Goodwin hasn't.

Yes Simon, you're dumber than Crazy Vossy.

Let's hope tonight Port Adelaide and GWS bash each other up, like Melbourne and Carlton did last night.
Was a brusing game the Dees, Blouse match, so if we get the same tonight, Brisbane and ourselves should be fairly happy going into next week.....
I think if Port win, it will come in the shape of a close, tough match. If the GWS get up, l feel they will do it comfortably by at least 4 to 5 goals, with the run and carry of the Giants causing Port problems, as they look slow and banged up.
So lets hope Port don't completely fall by the way side and give the Giants a training run tonight.
Im tipping the Giants by 26 pts, and we will be seeing them next week at the G.....

Max was clearly in a perfect position to make body contact and shepherd that through.

Incredible brain fart

I know what Grundy would have done…. Body on body is his modus operandi.

Grundy is too good for that club. Absolute disgrace that he wasn’t played given how shocking their forward line is, especially when they picked a tall on the sub bench and didn’t even activate him.

Pretty funny that Melbourne lost that (I'd like them if it wasn't for Goodwin). Scores pretty much level at half time. Carlton played an awful second half - beaten around the footy and horrible turnovers whenever they were out with a chance of attacking - yet somehow Melbourne found a way to not win.

It was really just an awful third quarter…. And Melbourne weren’t any better.

Carlton were getting smacked for most of the last quarter too.

Generally I thought the last quarter was of higher standard from both sides than the third, which was as bad as anything I’ve seen all year. Good come from behind win but I disagree that Carlton were that poor in the last.

Hasn't Grundy changed his management since the disaster of going to the Dees?
You feel Goodwin sold Grundy a picture of grandeur, of playing with Maxy, and forming this lethal combo...lol
All it ended up being was delusions of grandeur. Goodwin should be sacked just for destroying someones career.
I love how the media has put a spin on the trading of Grundy into Melbourne, as it was a fantastic idea, but unfortunately just didn't work, but it was worth the risk.
If this was us, the media would be all over us, and making comments like, "what an absolute disaster", "how can they do this to a player and move him on after one year after committing to him for the next 5 years", "what a disgraceful way to treat someone".....etc etc. Yet Melbourne come out of this smelling like roses whilst basically wasting a year of Grundy’s career.

There was two of them in a position to touch it, so not sure if he could have focussed on just one of them. He could have not put his hand up though ...
Both Carlton players we're heading to the same spot. All Max had to do was put his giant body one metre forward and block the space. The both would have run into him because the ball was only in one place.

Crap photo, but anyway
