Definitely came across to me like Wade thinks Tay is a decent chance to get up for the GF.
I thought that too. Unless he goes too hard and strains it again before the grand final (which is a bloody good chance with Tay), I think he'll play in the granny. I'm not saying if we get there. We'll smash GWS.

Yes, yes.
Of course AFL clubs are famous for publishing the truth about injuries two weeks out from a Grand Final.

You ever pinged a hammy? You don’t move like Tay did today with any type of decent strain.

48 hours after a decent strain you are lucky to be able to extend your knee forward of your hip.

I did one not long ago. For two weeks, I had to completely contort my body to drive a car.

If Tay could move like that, he's pretty bloody soft to consider it a hammie.

Just play him.

Here I was giving him a 10% chance or less. The club will always be optimistic, but the fact he’s moving like that two days later can only been seen as a positive

Even more motivation for the boys to go out and get a win!

Hopeful…

Sounds like a Treloar type injury…. Imagined! I’ve seen Treloar grab his hammy during games and to go off, only return five minutes later as if nothing* happened.

What’s the opposite of awareness, when you think you are aware but you were wrong?

😀

I've never done a hammy but it looks like there's nothing wrong with him! What the hell is happening!

Just a wild theory but I've had my fair share of back issues in my time and Tay his fair share of soft tissues that could very well be lower back related. I once could've sworn I did a (minor) hammy but it was more like a sciatica stemming from the lower back. That blow into his hip from JFN may well have created a similar sensation that they've been able to clear with massage/stretching etc....

Hamstring ignorance…

I wouldn't have picked Tay as a hypochondriac squib, but there you go. We've got all the evidence that he's just having a sook and will brain them in the Granny.

If you recall that video of Wade from before he came to work for us (I think he was presenting to Essendon from memory) he’s all about making players fail fitness tests in the lead-up rather than having them fail on game day when it counts.

I’d expect the mother of all fitness tests before Tay runs out there, if it happened at all.

Tays final fitness test.
