Didn't go outside to get better photos as it flew away last time but here it is again picking the mesh off my hanging basket which I presume is for the nest it is building.

Didn't go outside to get better photos as it flew away last time but here it is again picking the mesh off my hanging basket which I presume fr the nest it is building.

What does it mean when a Magpie visits you :

They are considered a messenger of good luck and are known as “birds of joy." For instance, if you see a magpie or if a magpie builds a nest near your home, that may be an indication and positive omen of incoming success and good news.

I’ve got a family that come to my house daily, their favourite nest building material is my husky’s hair, which is basically merino sheep’s wool. Their chicks are sleeping in luxury!

I had one knocking on my back window just before Bruzzy's Tribunal hearing..went outside and it was just sitting on my deck looking at me. I immediately took that as a good omen, despite being convinced all week, there was no way Bruzzy would be cleared.

And we all know how that ended.
