I rarely have a punt, but got given some free bonus bets through a work partnership with a betting agency. Chucked $6.25 on a 9-leg multi with potential winnings of $360. Sort of did it as a bit of fun without any expectation that it'll actually come through, but am now a Seattle, Las Vegas and Philly win away from the full payout. Can cash out for $120 right now which would be nice, but since it's a bonus bet, I reckon I'll just let it ride. The Raiders/Steelers game concerns me slightly though.

Since I dont watch college or anything before the NFL begins, what the hell did anyone see in Zach Wilson? Ive never seen a bloke less physically capable of playing the QB role.
I remember people being somewhat wowed by his pro-day throws, he slung some absolute bombs and was incredibly accurate. Just goes to show that some of these QB's can be as accurate as anything under no pressure on a pro-day or minimal at the college level, but can't translate to the pressure that DLs and DBs can put a QB under.

I'd be concerned too. Raiders are not good.

Seems a weird thing to want someone for. Surly his bombs should have been timed etc. You dont get 25 seconds to straigthen your hair and launch one in the NFL like you do in college. Id have thought its obvious such a game wouldnt translate over to the pros

I wasn't as into the NFL when Wilson was drafted, so I can't quite speak for the context surrounding the draft at the time, but its becoming quite clear that players that can extend a play (Mahomes, Hurts, Jackson, Herbert, Lawrence, Burrow, Allen) through exceptional athleticism or brilliant decision making have the skillset that translate the best from college to the NFL. Otherwise, players like Wilson are highly dependent on quality O-Lines to buy them enough time to make great throws. With Wilson, it appears his decision making is probably the worst in the league.

And I thought the Raiders were a bit average....

Broncos. Hold thy beer.
Defence turned to trash in an offseason.

O wasn’t terrible, a couple of called back TDs, two lost fumbles by Sutton did Russ dirty.

I don't watch much of the Bronco's and instead get a lot of my information and 'opinions' from listening to podcasts (e.g. Bill Simmons). Has Russ been as bad as he seems to indicate? Him and his co-host seemed to believe he was a couple of weeks away from being benched.
