If we get our draft capitol back I’m not that concerned. I don’t think Marra & Naughton like sharing the forward line with him (based on some comments they made in interviews) so if clearing it out gives them more space I’m ok with it.

Hopefully it is the Dees chasing him rather than us pushing so we have some leverage.

Don’t really get the lets go for Oliver commentary.

Is he a great player? Yes absolutely

Does he fix any of our issues? No

He doesn’t fix our backline, he doesn’t add speed, he doesn’t add defensive mindedness.

So why would we tie up close to a mil a season for 6 years for someone that doesn’t address our issues? Are we planning on becoming the new Essendon or North and grabbing people because they are available

If Lobb wants to leave, what does it say about the club?

That they don’t tolerate Richard heads or non team players? Who knows how he has behaved? Hid his ankle injury perhaps? Dropped due to discipline issues? Could be anything.

This Oliver stuff is no good for us. It would get give enough for pick 1 and push the Roos to look at pick 4. In fact it would probably give the Dees enough for both 1 & 4.

Lobbs last 4 games:

Vs GEE 16 disposals 3 goals

Vs WCE 14 disposals 3 goals

Vs HAW 14 disposals 2 goals

Vs RICH 13 disposals 2 goals

Those are great stats for a 2nd Ruck / 3rd KPF + his ruck work which is decent.

I understand they weren’t against the best teams but we lost 2 of those games.

Lobb has been a massive improvement on having Bruce, Cordy or Buku as our 2nd ruck. I’m not a fan of losing Lobb at all especially as Darcy doesn’t seem ready yet.
