I think we need a key defender and a key forward.

We need whoever will make us better next year. I'd love a key forward if we could get one too.

There’s a need to replace Adams and we don’t have the quality already on the list to do that so yes there’s definitely a need. I’d argue that with Howe almost certainly done post 2024 intercept hybrid defender is a greater need than either KPF or KPD, but the fascination with a stud KPF will never die on here…

We need those as well, but a KPF would be hard to get without giving an arm and a leg.
We should be able to pick up a back without too much trouble, and hopefully Dean will come good.
Another inside mid wouldn't hurt either.
Schultz will make us better - he's kicked 30+ goals in the last 2 seasons - for Freo, FFS!

Carlton sold the farm for their KPf’s which means they have no $ left for smalls and mediums. How’d that work out? They are far to curnow focussed.

Mcstay and checkers with hill, Schultz Elliot and mcreery is an amazing balance and scary forward line.

Sure we do need to replace checkers, but we don’t need to sell the farm. Another workhorse would suffice.

I don't know why people think that Schultz will just walk to us next year. Things can change in a year. Bobby Hill wanted to go to Essendon the year before.

Yes correct nicks are saying that he wants a new start no takers thus far . Feeling is Wright may swoop on him offering pick 80 as stkilda want him off their books the deal may be that we take his full contract at 500k x2 years and therefore it may get to the death knell before trades end and lets say the Schultz deal doesnt happen Billings may get picked up as back up or both may get picked up.

What we really need'is a kp backman to replace Murphy ( 10 concussions he may retire especially since we won the flag) this is important (doubt krueger can stay fit) Frampton is more a spare parts player (better playing Ruck) someone like a Darcy Gardiner from Brisbane would be good but doubt that will happen


With Hill.Ginnivan,Elliot, schultz Macreey and say Billings not a bad bunch of small forwards and good depth next year

Remember Elliot is not far off retirement too

It was our small forwards really that won us the flag this year
