Have rewatched the game beyond count now, it really was just an awesome game of football. High scoring, multiple lead changes, spectacular feats all around the ground. The 3rd quarter seemed to have all the hallmarks of yet another Grand Final defeat and yet this team defied those old ways and carried a great weight off the clubs shoulders.

If you asked me if it's even sunk in yet then I couldn't tell you, still feels like a dream. Being a young supporter in 2010 I never felt as connected to that team like I do now with this one. 2023 was a wild ride, let's hope 2024 is just as good. Floreat Pica.

1990 was my first, but I was young and didn’t really enjoy it as much as I thought at the time, then there was a 20 year wait until the next one, and finally I thought it was complete, then another 13 year wait, but finally I feel we have a complete team that can hopefully win multiple flags in the same decade and get back to being the great team we once were.

We certainly have the coaching staff to achieve repeat success

The ageing nature of the list profile would suggest 2024 might be our last crack at it before a minor rebuild

In Oct or Nov, 2010 the club had a day at the then Lexus Centre where you could go and be photographed holding the Premiership Cup. I have a treasured photograph from that day with my then 6YO son. I would like to get another one of us with the 2023 cup if possible, even if it's behind a glass case somewhere. Does anyone know if the cup is on public display yet, and whether one can get a photo in front of it, if not actually holding it?

Could we please keep this topic above the red line, at least until we win another premiership. Since the grand final, I must’ve watched the replays on page 6 with the different radio coverages 100 times.
The replays with alternative broadcasts are brilliant!

That happened in November. ( dream come true for me ).
Last 2 times I've been in the Lexus Centre the cup has not been there, had a sign saying it was being used at some function. Probably back in its spot now.

First time watching the replay, up to half time. Forgot how good Beau was in the first half, could have had 3 goals.

And they all just missed by a bee's dick.
Isn't it time we lay off the worker bees? All they do is work in the hope of getting to one chick amongst thousands of blokes. If they actually get busy with the queen, they die immediately afterwards. And all we do is continually bag their size?

I think we can all do better.

Lay off more workers? Damn you corporate types… it’s not all about the share price. You don’t know what it’s like to truly build something. Like a hive.

The whole bees dick thing needs to be put into context. I believe a bee's endophallus to be up to nearly 5mm long, whereas the average bee body is around 15mm. Compared to humans then, bees are buzzing around with virtual two foot schlongs!

It's amazing they ever manage to become airborne.

Still feels great that we won the Premiership last year and it’s still very much fresh in the memory, but in all honesty nothing will ever beat the joy felt from October of last year to the beginning of this season. Makes you appreciate much more as you almost have to somewhat move on when the next season begins.

That’s why you have to make hay whilst the sun shines

I've been going to games at the Gabba for over 30 years and that was the loudest and angriest crowd I've ever seen on Thursday night.
Never seen Brisbane supporters so bitter and pissed off. Heaps of Collingwood supporters wearing premiership guernseys.
As Willard Scott would say, How sweet it is!

How lovely - getting towelled up by the team that beat them in the granny!
The Brisbane propaganda machine now in full damage control mode.
LMAO!
Stick your country roads up your ar**!
