If I told you I would be called a conspiracy theorist by most. But I don’t trust either Labour or the LNP to truly do the right thing by the indigenous or the average Australian. Our constitutional is our protection. Don’t mess with it.
I hope you never observe a High Court hearing then my learned friend

Make sure you have your outdated legislature ready and loophole arguments prepared - those high court judges will quake in their boots when you tell them the commonwealth of Australia is a private enterprise belonging to Jacob Rothschild
Well this isn’t my tweet. But it sums up how I feel about the world these days. Oh & the Rothschilds can EAD.

Thanks! I’m going to try to get it going at my work. I think it’ll catch on, even though we aren’t very learned and we’re not really friends.

Maybe stick with ‘chief’ or ‘maestro’ for additional flex

Edit: A client ‘maestroed’ me a month ago after I called him ‘mate’

Ok.
Labour and Greens have a majority in the house.
Time for a treaty.
I think the fear of a treaty was a major reason why people voted no. How does throwing more money at the cause fix things when the current funding has been misappropriated. The referendum should have been for the sole purpose of acknowledging our first nations people in the constitution. That's what I voted yes for

Australia is a small-hearted place, I think.

Only consolation is that the Libs under Dutton have just lost more ground in their formerly safe seats.

Result was predictable but is still difficult for people who give a s***.

I hate my county mate

I hate my county mate

Australia gets a lot right, just can't face up to its history and the implications of the past.

Too much hate in the world right now. I've decided to settle on despair.

So glad we’re not divided 🙃

An utterly predictable outcome from our fearless nation

I voted yes for division. For me it's about Aboriginal Australia's right to maintain separate communities with increasing levels of autonomy rather than having "solutions" imposed upon their communities by multicultural Australia. It's about their right to maintain their various cultures if they choose without them dissolving in the melting pot that is Australia.

Me too.

I can’t even really make comment right now because I am just sick and tired of this stuff.

I have had it!

The fight goes on, but not until I've taken some time to curl into the foetal position and feel petulant.

How do you explain the large numbers of aboriginal people who voted NO?. Do you think they are shattered tonight?. Strange how the further you went out into the country the less votes the YES campaign got.
Is this it? Or will there be more insufferable victory laps?
