The faster Pou and Owens are a duo in the midfield the quicker chalenge the premiership. With Nas at HB King at FF and sincs and steele, we just need one or two more to take the leap and we are genuine.

For probably the first time ever, I think I agree with him. King needs a massive preseason that gives him the grounding for a 70 goal year. Absolutely capable of it needs some luck with his body.

He just needs to be out there and he’ll have a great season. Availability and goal kicking are the only things that can stop him from tearing the competition a new one. He’s the least of our worries.

I'd like to see him do more. He could easily be the best forward in the comp, but he has to want it...sometimes I'm not sure he does.
Next season will be telling.

Good to hear We can get a little precious with our talent sometimes...no one should be immune from meeting playing standards. I'm hoping that that the unspoken, yet seemingly embedded "Tail wagging the dog" effect that the club has had over the last decade or so has been properly exorcised, and that these guys can actually meet and act upon their potential.

That's not the point of the article. All of those players are good but will they go next level? King could drift along being a good player with his 45 goals a year and get to the end of his career as a well paid footballer. His potential is much higher than that by a lot and it will be disappointing if he isn't a regular top 4 in the Coleman type forward for a long time.
