The fact we were willing to give up a future 2nd for him (and a future 4th) speaks volumes for how much we rated him. Mid 40’s in this draft is like about 30 in some of the recent drafts.It’s difficult not to be excited about this kid. He looks exceptional. Tough, quick, agile and a midfielder! I would’ve happily taken him inside the top 20.

Finished the year in outstanding form at Colts level, being among the best afield with 30 disposals in Claremont’s Grand Final-winning team. Was outstanding in testing at the state Draft Combine in Perth, ranking second on the 2km time trial (6:08), third on the agility test (7.98 seconds) and fourth on the running vertical jump (86cm).
