Freo wanted him at their next pick and take a lot of mature agers so i think we needed to go now.

26yo from werribbee. Kicked 6 goals and had nearly 30 touches in the vfl GF in a losing side. Midfielder/hf.

Lets hope he is much more stewart/menegola/atkins and less house/ruggles but we really lack middle aged midfielders so i think its a good pick.

Ideally you take him late/rookie but other clubs were keen so i think we had to go now.

They must rate him above other mids... Need to seem him play

Hes good. He had the sort of year menegola had in 2015..im not saying he will be as awesome as that but i do think he will play a lot of footy for us next year.

I don't think I've ever been more certain of all 3 of our picks (so far) making it in some way shape or form.

ME - Will take time, but arguably even more talented than Toby, who we all love. Great prospect.

Mannagh - Plug and play, in an age demographic that we desperately lack qualitity in. At the very least we know he'll be a gun at VFL level and help out the bankers, but I'd expect him to play a huge role next year.

To be fair VFL isn’t exactly the greatest standard of footy but hope we get at least 4 years of decent service out of him considering his age

We might have taken Simpson but Freo traded up and snagged him.

Think we'll be looking for Stevens to be available very late.

Actually agree. Like all the players but personally wouldn't have taken Mannagh yet.

I watched the VFL GF live and this guy was ridiculous. On one hand using a top 40 pick on a 26yo is risky, but he was clearly a class above the rest, and with our Podsiadly/Stewart/Menegola history he’s every chance to start in rd 1 next year.

Hes a 175cm mid. Previously played for richmond vfl and ovens and murray league.
Been good for a few years but absolutely dominant this year.
