We used to be the best media team when heath was around

Standards have fallen, at least we had the inner north doco last year but it shouldn’t be hard to do interviews with each of the new players (only dyl so far) and each of the new draftees at a minimum

Or just have a player run weekly segment (interviewing each other)

Maybe focussed on the historic club prelim on the weekend and upcoming GF appearance?
Plus the draft.
There will be plenty of time in Dec and Jan/Feb for more content at training.

I get your point but at what point is that no longer a valid reason? I still think he should step aside and give the spot to a kid. He's 33 next year and i don't see the value in keeping him in the team just for leadership.

We’ve got around 5 guys over the age of 25 - we need experienced players to help out the youngsters.
Also as stated he’s one of our better runners and knows where to run in bother offence and defence

How dare they take up a list spot that we totally have the depth to cover.

Shiels and Greenwood provide experience and are basically extra development coaches at this point. If I'm list manager I want some sh*tmen and/or older players that I know will be definite cuts at end of year rather than having to shock the playing group by brutally cutting 2nd or 3rd year players who might need more development time.
