Welcome to the big time. Because George is the boss. What an animal. I cannot remember quite the alpha hunter for a long time.George Wardlaw training with the main group today, good to see. Almost killed poor McKercher during a drill.

And about seven people with nothing better to do than argue with him. That's bigfooty in a nutshell isn't it? There's always someone ready to ruin the vibe.
He would of been delisted if it wasn’t for a trigger clause in a contract. Lets all be honest here.im pointing out that he isn't back when the whole squad was/still is
Let's hope it ends Keyser Soze style as Nostra gets up from his desk, logs out of Big Footy, walks away from his computer his limp disappearing with each step... And like that, he's gone. It's always the usual suspects.
Nuffy? What? Is that supposed to be an insult?lol pipe down you nuffy im aware where he is hence I'm calling it out
had all off season to go travel
if it were another player doing it they would be getting ripped
There’s really no argument thoAnd about seven people with nothing better to do than argue with him.

Koen ???Sanchez maybe.
Yes. Or go after anyone else with speed that could potentially play high fwd. Listening to recruiting bosses post draft all spoke about speed being the priority. Colby and Zane has some toe, let's get more into the list. It can't hurt to get some speedy types into train. Looking fwd to seeing how Hansen Jnr goes.Koen ???
His on-field leadership looked very important at times last year. It's not as if he is going to play every game.I still don't understand why we are taking Shiels into the 2024 season. Not disputing his ability and he's had a great career but seriously the spot should be for a kid. He won't be part of future success or even in our best 23. He could onfield coach just as well in the VFL.
Lets be honest. He's no luke hodge. Move him on and coach the AFL listed coach in the VFL.His on-field leadership looked very important at times last year. It's not as if he is going to play every game.
If you take out Shiels, our 5 most experienced players in terms of games played are McDonald (181), Corr (139), Simpkin (134), Tucker (126) & Greenwood (118).Lets be honest. He's no luke hodge. Move him on and coach the AFL listed coach in the VFL.
I get your point but at what point is that no longer a valid reason? I still think he should step aside and give the spot to a kid. He's 33 next year and i don't see the value in keeping him in the team just for leadership. If you take out Shiels, our 5 most experienced players in terms of games played are McDonald (181), Corr (139), Simpkin (134), Tucker (126) & Greenwood (118).
There is definitely a required role in the side for Shiels even if he only plays half the games.
Last year he was one of the few on our list capable of running out a game. If a kid wants his spot, they need to get fit enough to earn it.I still don't understand why we are taking Shiels into the 2024 season. Not disputing his ability and he's had a great career but seriously the spot should be for a kid. He won't be part of future success or even in our best 23. 100% agree. I'm not saying we should gift games. If a kid wants his spot, they need to get fit enough to earn it.
Done.Guys I have just rung the club and cancelled my membership. I implore you all to the do the same.
Just so it's clear and we send a message to the club, when they ask why remember to say 'because Greenwood wasn't at training'.
That's no reason to take up our final list spot. There'd be dozens more players that were drafted under Clarko and never got senior game time.We could be looking at Connor Downie. Clarkp still feels bad after debuting him as the sub for his one and only game, but he got no game time. Will be interesting to see which undrafted CTL boys we bring into the VFL program. Maybe 1 or 2 of those will get a chance to train on.
Well i didn't say I was happy about it.That's no reason to take up our final list spot. There'd be dozens more players that were drafted under Clarko and never got senior game time.
We're not a charity case. After carrying plodders on our list year after year for no success, we need to be damn picky with who wears our jumper.
I understand what your saying and the reason is we have a lot of kids and a premiership player from Hawthorn who really did play well this year, has so much to teach the younger guys, his experience with lots of things are invaluable, on and off the field, for example in a lot of games watch the hit he takes in shepherding the younger boys, like in the movie, "The Little Things"; "its the little things Jimmy, its the little things that get you caught".I still don't understand why we are taking Shiels into the 2024 season. Not disputing his ability and he's had a great career but seriously the spot should be for a kid. He won't be part of future success or even in our best 23. Really?I still don't understand why we are taking Shiels into the 2024 season. Not disputing his ability and he's had a great career but seriously the spot should be for a kid. He won't be part of future success or even in our best 23. He could onfield coach just as well in the VFL.
Yeah I get that. But at what point do we cut the chord? Let's face it we aint winning the flag in the next few years so I'd rather get experience into the kids. But I get your point.Really?
We lost over 1000 games of experience this year alone.
We have enough kids on our list. Shiels is needed as an older head to help show them the way, on and off the field.
