Congrats to Detroit fans.
Goff must feel a little better. Missed out on a SB ring so only so much revenge possible but it has gotta feel like he proved himself a little.
Thought McVay would have him figured out.

Ironically if you become a Texans fan I'll have no reason to be a hater

The more I think about it the more head scratching McVay punting late is.

If it was Shanahan I would be burning the internet down right now.

It's 3rd down, you are midfield, the Lions haven't stopped squat on 3rd and 4th down, 4 minutes on the clock, one TO and down by one in a win or go home scenario.

Mind boggling....I can only think he had so little respect for Goff that he thought he would choke on the first set of downs. But that could have happened just as easily on the 40 yard line as the 10.

I have no real love for Goff but more power to him for sticking it to McVay (especially how his Rams tenure ended) and not only being on the field but his clutch passing at the end proving the difference.

I am sure you will just follow whatever team i support to target troll! 🤣🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Not that i really give a **** anymore on the internet and pointless arguing over a sport that is half a world away none of us can control!

It was baffling, but not when you consider his tendency to be overly conservative.

I’m petrified Shanahan does something similar in the next few weeks. He’s more than capable of it.

They’re so-called “offensive geniuses” but are pretty risk-averse. I also hate the burning of timeouts on offense in the first or third quarters, unless it’s something like fourth and 1 in the red zone. I think they used one on 3rd and long today. Nightmare.

It sounds ridiculous, but I genuinely think that having played Madden when the were younger would make them better at those sorts of game management decisions

2 in 2 weeks for Joseph.

Damn. Hockenson last week as well in an identical hit. 😟

Unfortunate but legal with the rules. You can't go high and TE are too strong, big and powerful to tackle for most DBs so they have to go low.

If the NFL introduced a strike zone where you can't go high or low it would be almost impossible to stop some players. You can't put a LB on them they are too fast.
I'm not for banning low hits even though players like Chubb and Hockerson did ACLs.

I didn't think it was a dirty hit, but didn't like him flexing after. I also wonder if the field was also an issue his foot got stuck as he got hit. We have seen more of these on turf then grass because a foot gets stuck

End of the first half they also had 1 or 2 timeouts and 60sec but didn't try and move the ball.

But also they never should of had the ball if the refs got the offsides call right rather than a false start on the Lions

This can't be true. Madden football has been around since 1988, around the time he was born.

Maybe he hasn't played in 15 or 20 years, but I can't believe a football fanatic growing up wasn't grinding the game in his teens.
