Damn, hope he wont be out for 6 to 8 weeks. If so, then we will just have to wait for his breakout game, I think he was getting closer to a four or five goal standout game. If he can kick 2 to 2.5 goals a game on average, which it certainly looks like the way he goes at it and get involved, that will be huge over the next 10+ years.

Unfortunate if he's out for a lengthy stint. He has been a breath of fresh air in our new look forward line. We haven't fired on all cylinders yet but you can see what we are building. The connection with Ginni is awesome.

He has a long career ahead of him so no need to rush him back. Might even be good opportunity to build him back through the VFL to give senior time to Butler/JOS/Bennetts who have been looking dangerous.

Has anyone actually said anything about the injury yet? Or is everything just speculation?
He would've went for an x-ray this morning. If it's something serious then we'll probably hear something today.

I'm tipping the club will choose to be ultra cautious with both Watson & Lewis (like Day, Jiath et al). After their recovery they'll undergo solid conditioning & training blocks & hopefully be back by 2025 or 26.

I have actually been thinking the same thing. Are your multiple posts on it being a high ankle sprain / syndesmosis just your thoughts or do you have some inside info Ka Norkers?
only my thoughts, it is always an awful sign when the player grabs above the ankle anteriorly (at the front)
on replay, the mechanism of injury is consistent with it.

They said 'ruled out for 4' and 'up to 6' in the AFL.com article, easier shown as 4-6 weeks out.
