Carlton peeps, come on, no one on here wants your advice, stay out

Edit: holy **** Carlton people, how can you think anyone here wants your input on umpires or anything to do with the game. Stay out or get pointed

I have a feeling that the most annoying thing about the game will be the cover up. I expect that neither the AFL or the media will show the down the ground footage that shows the ball bouncing off Aish, and then subsequently say that the umpires got that wrong and should have called it.

I also expect that we won't find out what Clark said.
Anyone claiming "that's a mark every day of the week" is just pushing out stanky poop.

You watch any amount of footy and you'll see the umpires bring out the "touched play on" call arbitrarily to suit themselves.

You'll see plenty of ones called where the touch is barely discernable, if not invisible/impossible. And they'll then continue screaming "touched, play on!" until it's registered downfield.

Watch the replay and Mackay should have been pinged for holding the ball directly after. Had prior and pulled the ball in.

Oh look at the end of the day we had our opportunities to put them away earlier then be relying on a 50/50 call with a min to go.

Emmett missing a sitter, Frederick should have kicked 1 early in the piece, Brayshaw snap in the last that fell short when Amiss was wide open by himself 20m out in front.

Amiss missing a set shot early in the last.

We were up by 9 with 4 mins to go should have won simple we lost our heads.

We went away from what worked all game and turned it into a chaotic final 4 wins which is what Carlton wanted and needed to win the game.

I think it's a good learning experience. Carlton have been in enough close games recently to know what's required.

We don't want to be doing that every-week but I am sure JL will drill into what went wrong and learn from it next time we are in that situation.

As long as there is isnt psychologically issues with the players and Carlton I am bullish if we get another crack at them our game stands up.

We still lack goal nous and quality craft in the forward line from everyone to pluck goals out when required or in tight contested spots.

Would you expect Cornes to say anything else??? Has become the biggest grub of AFL reporting.

Is Michael Pell an Umpire?
Did he himself previously abused some people?

Not sure why clark is being praised on here once the goal was kicked the decision wasn't going to be changed no matter how bad it was.

It cost us any chance of winning.

JL will give him a clip and rightly so I reckon the umps were happy to cop it while the kick was being lined up but once the goal was kicked and they were moving back to the centre there is a time to stop and worry about your next assignment. Instead of carrying on still.
