“The fabric of the game”… Please. I do feel sorry for Yeo, no doubt. However, this was always a black and white rule. If you choose to drag the ball in while you are on the ground, the onus is on you to get the ball out. At times it does seem unfair, I agree. However, it couldn’t be more clear. On rare occasions it doesn’t get played. However, those decisions are incorrect! The only real “controversy” in that play was why did North not receive a free for arguably two high contacts on Wardlaw.
The hate from Robbo so evident. He must be thinking….. gee North may have turned the corner..

Do they seriously think Slobbo adds anything?

Asking Lachie Neale ‘How does Hipwood deal with outside noise’

Does he realise outside noise in Qld is almost ZERO ? The local rag has no interest and you have to go looking for comment in the Melbourne press.

The man is a complete dill!

Yea yea….hardly news but it’s plumbing new depths.

Listened to Craig McRae on SEN in his regular spot last week, really interesting. Starting with talking about selecting Ned Long in the MSD and how they don’t value kicking efficiency nearly as highly as other things, moved on to talking more generally about how he would be 80:20 or 90:10 on doing and getting better at what you are good at versus focusing on trying to fix your weaknesses. Also some good comments about cultivating winning behaviours - winning on the scoreboard is only one part of building a winning culture.
