I genuinely do not know the rules anymore or what is considered acceptable adjudication.

It's one way for certain teams and another way for the others.

Once again reiterating, this game is well and truly ****ed.

We will never get the rub of the green.

If we are to truly progress we need to be good enough that they simply don’t matter.

they are outside our control so we need to be better at what is in our control.

How straight forward was the Kennedy HTB in front of our goal to bring us back to 1 point in the last?

If Visy King Charlie laid the tackle at his end, the cheating umps would’ve paid the free, given him a neck massage, made up a 50m penalty and rolled out the red carpet to an automatic 6 points on the goal line..

Absolute farce!!!!

It's hard to be amazed by the umpiring standard anymore after the non-50m penalty to Scott vs Collingwood. Every other decision I see, no matter how bad it is, will never be as bad as that one.

I feel like a cop who witnesses 100 homicides a year, but the non-50m penalty to Scott is the most horrific scene by a long way, so that every homicide I see now, doesn't seem so bad.

Just truly a bunch of unaccountable psychologically brittle flogs. If you make a mistake, put your hand up and get better. Dont pretend. All of us would cop some mistakes with honesty. Most of their ridiculous decisions happen when they get excited and imagine how they can impact the game - sadly, they enjoy the power. And if you speak up ? - It’s 50 or a fine.

Have played or watched thousands of games and never been more confused. The players actually laugh.
Its actually easy. Prior opportunity includes grabbing ball out of ruck, diving on it and the ones we all see. Doesnt matter if its in tje middle or ten metres out.
If it “comes loose” in the tackle - play a free. Its like bumping now - take on the tackler, you “risk” a free. And, if its on the boundary, pay it. So idiotic that you can kill someone or drop the ball in a tackle but if it goes over the line , it seems almost always ok.
I honestly think most fans would prefer to reward the tackler if the player drops the ball or it “comes out” when they get tackled.

Where do you start???

-The tackle on Kennedy that should have been holding the ball. We were down by 7 points at the time and coming hard.
-And then the Fisher one where it was knocked out and paid holding the ball. Goal to Carlton. So costly. Wtf is the difference between the two tackles???
-The worst was Razor f***wit having to insert himself into the game early on after 18 months out and he can’t help himself with a bit of me time. Called play on to the Larkey mark that cost us a certain goal. How many times do we see that always get called back for a shot at goal?
-Then you have the bullshit 50 against Tucker.
-I am sure Cripps also threw the ball when he had one arm pinned in a tackle. How the f*** do you handball with one hand?
-The high contact on Larkey in the middle of the ground happened right in front of the umpire and he simply failed to pay the free. It held up play at a costly time and we were severely disadvantaged for it.
-The cheapie paid to McKay against Corr that is let go 19 times out of 20 and that was all she wrote. Game over.

The AFL has a major problem on its hands. It has increased the number of game day umpires to 4 however there are not enough good umpires available to field 4 in each match.
So now Laura Kane has directed McBurney to pair up 2 senior umpires with 2 rookie umpires for the non-FTA games. And you get shit like today. Like Collingwood. It’s f***ing embarrassing.

And we always cop it.
Same umpiring incompetency and pitiful standards week in week out.
Too many mistakes are happening and deciding games.
This league is a joke.

What about Curnow sliding through and taking out Archer's legs as he was about to mark. How did four maggots manage to miss that???

General consensus in the Reddit washup threads is that Carlton got absolutely **** ridden to a win.
Even from the majority of Blues posters.

Pretty much says it all.
