Haha

Look I'm sure Smith is a fine kid but **** me Carlton are carrying on like they just drafted Chris Judd.

Nah he’s good but they had him at 1 in their rankings

Carlton were never going to get Lalor or FOS so I don’t know what his crying into his wheeties about

Smillie maybe but they have Cripps. Get a grip

Smith must be a bit gutted inside, his whole life he has been in the Richmond area, even played VFL for us and he ends up at Carlton.
Go close to just premature retire.

Will train at princes park in his full Tiger kit so they get the message

Sooo funny he hates us with a passion. Every year he’s saying we need to rebuild now we are he has nowhere to go

I agree it won’t happen. But if Reid was available for picks 1 and 3 next year I’m doing that deal. Keeping in mind Reid is ‘somewhat’ of a known quantity at AFL level. In his 6th and 9th games he scored over 26 AFL player ratings points … for anyone who follows these, over 26 is rarified air many qualify players have NEVER achieved ..and he’s done it twice by his 9th game! And his 5th game was his game against the Tigers when he tore us a new one with 27 disposals, 7 clearances and a goal. This kid is gonna be crazy good. No 19yo midfielder in my memory has done what he did in his first 9 x games. Not Judd, not Selwood, not anyone.

But it’s all irrelevant as it won’t be happening.

the only person i can think of that would've been close is rowell's debut season before injuring himself, he was on fire

just checking the player ratings but after both of the players first 4 games, rowell had 70.1 total player ratings and reid had 42.9. rowell had a 24.6 in his 2nd game. unfortunately he had that shoulder injury and didn't play again that year, and then in rd 1 the next year he did his pcl lmao

This video and the blues hierarchy reaction to recruiting Jagga seems completely inauthentic and staged

Not sure if this blues fan is happy or sad, he seems really worked up and angry

In any case poor Jagga has a heap of pressure on him, crazy expectations

geezuz wouldnt wanna be on the front line with baggy eyes, looks as tho hed crap in his pants for a week
if ya took his boy george poster from the wall

No doubt Harley R looks a huge prospect. But he is not the first player to get those type of player ratings in his first half season.

Matt Rowell when you adjust for shortened games in 2020 outdid Reid.

In his 5th game he was injured & missed the remainder of that season. In his 4 full games his player ratings were:

rd 1 - 12.0
rd 2 - 30.8
rd 3 - 24.9
rd 4 - 20.8

He was running at an average player rating of 22.1, higher than any player has ever averaged over a whole season bar Gary Ablett's 22.2 in 2014. Rowell received 3 x 3 Brownlow votes in those games but miraculously somehow was not awarded the Rising Star that year. Rowell got more Coaches votes in 4 full games in his debut season, than Harley Reid received in his whole first season, where he played 20 matches.

At this time before his draft year no one would have said Reid was a generational talent. Pick one next year likely won’t be as good as Reid but no one at all can currently say that with any level of accuracy worth listening to
Well, it wasn’t this time before his draft year but it was in February; well before he’d played a game. So, same thing.

And he’d already starred as an under ager in the National Championships.
