Bad business for the resellers

With the geographic spread and way more travel involved through out the playoff process (3 or 4 games to win it all), this might be a more common occurrence. While sports fans in the USA are treated like walking ATMs, this new format may be a bridge too far.

Big Noon also lost the #1 rated game spot for the season, and wasnt even top 4

Fox would wish they could show Big10 primetime with that list and more schools vocal against noon games.
But Big10/Fox sold the primetime to NBC, wonder if they could trade timeslots or something

Big noon is such a garbage time slot, even if you're on the east coast. Loading up with rivalry games for your regional audience is a winner - especially of they've got CFP consequences.

This season the Big10 quality was way down. Even the ducks are lucky to be where they ended up. The SEC had the games and that time slot just makes more sense

LOL Hunter didnt even win the Big12 OPOTY. Sanders did, but Hunter got the DPOTY. Yet they all talk about stats and his offensive numbers. But they expect him to be a landslide heisman winner.

You just know he got heaps of votes already sent in because they made up their minds months ago based on what the media were talking about. I feel gutted for Jeanty because you can see the fix coming over a month ago. and he is still putting up monster numbers and making everyone miss.

I had a thought today when I heard Oregon fans wern't travelling due to knowing there's games ahead where they'll need to travel to instead, and I wondered that with the BigTen championship. Do you book out both Vegas and Indy, and the higher seed gets it in their backyard?

Imagine if it's an Oregon vs USC game in Indy. That'll be a disaster.
Its similar for the Big12 where you can get $10 tickets, ACC tickets are as cheap as $38. SEC for around $100 (last year was $300 for the cheapest seat).
Big XII Shocks me - That's a play-in game - As a neutral. It's probably the biggest game in tomorrow's slate.

Though, I'm not neutral, and I'll be watching the ACC (Go Clemson! - Give us the #3 seed :p) But $38 seems low for that too. Clemson win and in. Right on their doorstep. And it's the biggest game for SMU in the better part of half a century. A bad loss might have them missing altogether. Having said that, the cost of tickets is about 8 times higher than it was a few years back.

SEC doesn't surprise me though. Previously this was a play-in game for them. Now it's another game, drop makes sense. This might actually be the highest we'll see with the SECCG. Local team who don't have to pay for flights/accommodation vs a school who has immense pride and will want to prove themselves on the big stage.

Right now, my top 4 would be

1. Jeanty
2. Ward
3. Gabriel (Would move him to #2 if they win vs Penn State)
4. Sanders

After this Id consider Hunter.

Also, you know the Big XII is a joke, living off the coattails of Texas/Oklahoma when the worst 2 teams from the Pac, and a psuedo MWC team come in and are 3 of the 4 1st placed teams in year 1.

Hunter had a worse SOS than Jeanty.

Laura: Okay thanks chris, coach, 8 penalties in that first half how do you get your team to clean that up

Sarkisian: Well hopefully they call them for holding one of these times soon

Might be my favourite response in an interview in a long time
